2nd Morpheus8 session
RockerGalMarch 22, 2021
$800
Left is before 1st session (5 wks ago) right is one week post 2nd session. Needles go deeper each session (from what I’m told) but I do not know exactly how deep they went. I may book a 3rd round but have them stay away from my eyes next time since I had two black eyes after this latest round.

2 black eyes after 2nd Morpheus8 treatment
RockerGalMarch 18, 2021
I am a bit concerned about the black eyes I was left with after my 2nd session. Not sure if needle was too deep or the eye area or if I’m just very vascular there. Hoping this doesn’t lead to permanent discoloration. Not seeing any improvement in any other area of my face as I did a couple days after the 1st round of treatment. That might just be because I can’t stop focusing on the black eyes though. Taking a ton of arnica & bromelain as well as a special to pick bruise healing lotion I found with vitamin k, arnica & aloe. Will contact provider if bruises don’t start fading soon...

How long did your bruising last? I am pretty vascular under the eyes. I just had a consult to have Morpheus8 Prime done for crepey skin under the eyes.

Bruising lasted about a week. Was able to conceal it after about 3 or 4 days. I don't know what Morpheus8 prime is but I'll look into it.

I thought you were NOT to take any medicine to help skin heal faster, no special lotions. Supposedly the skin need to go through the process of healing without any outside help.
Your doctor should have told you this.

Not sure who told you that but my doc recommended Arnica for the bruising & okayed me to take the bromelain. Both are natural.

2nd Morpheus8 session
RockerGalMarch 16, 2021
One month after my 1st Morpheus8 treatment I went in for my 2nd session (3/15/21)
2nd session hurt much more even with the numbing cream. I am told this is normal; each session gets progressively more intense due to the needle depth increasing to maximize results. Left my 2nd session with bruises under both eyes. (Did not have that after the 1st session) provider stated some bruising is not unheard of & should go away in a few days. Taking both arnica & bromelain & using aquaphor on the treated areas (face & neck)
Will post pics in a day or so.

I highly recommend taking weekly progress pics. The improvements are subtle & happen over time. Without before pics & update pics I may not have fully appreciated the results.

Did you find out anything regarding the depth and energy your doctor used? My provider treated my submental area in depths of 1, 2 and 3 mm with a maximum energy of 25 kW (I think that's the unit...), but there's been no improvement after 4 treatments, so I'm pretty frustrated and I'm wondering if the treatment was aggressive enough...

Hi, in the lead up to your treatments to help with the bruising has the clinic given you a thorougher pre and post treatment protocols? such as no fish oil and no aspirin or alcohol and drink 2 litres of water a day for 7 days in the lead up to appointment etc? also did they provided you with a post treatment aftercare take home kit with the recovery serums such as hyaluronic acid, barrier cream SPF, Gentle cleanse?
I've just had my first M8 treatment and the needle depth was discussed due to different areas of the face and around eyes its best to not go any deeper than 1ml and avoid bruising. And I don't want to lose fat on my face but to sculpt so no needle depth over 3ml. LED light is great post treatment for healing as well which will help overall if you have access to LED.

Age mid 60’s. Underwent recommended three sessions of Morpheus 8. No change in face. Very disappointed
