First Morpheus 8 Treatment

WORTH IT
Just finished my first treatment. I have been tossing up about this for nearly a year now. I suffered from acne basically my whole life (am now 32) still get the odd hormonal breakout too, I have pigmentation acne scarring and fine lines also a line neck, sun damaged chest. I personally was so so anxious after reading all of the review on here but I went with my gut And booked in with dr Landeros (he is an ENT specialist) based in San Jose Mexico. He exceeded my expectations and I could not of asked for a better provider completely eased my anxiety the moment I met him. So I had a painkiller, some anti anxiety drops, face numbing cream and then lidocaine injections. I’ll admit it was painful but totally bearable I think for me it was more the anxiety after reading all the bad reviews. I found the most pain was the electric shots you feel at times. Overall amazing experience and I can’t wait to see once I’m face chills out a bit too

Whoops so many grammar mistakes I think I was still feeling a little woozy from the meds lol. But my advice would be if you’re looking to have this procedure done, make sure you find a professional, I see so many horrible reviews about it and it scared me to the point that I was not going to get it done but the pain was totally bearable but I feel that’s because I had a professional doc perform it on me I couldn’t even imagine not having the right numbing amount before the procedure! Dr Landeros also stressed that it’s not a procedure where you should expect wow results straight away, it takes time to see the full benefits of it.

How much did it cost? Please keep us posted on your progress? Thanks

$750 per session and I purchased 3. I’m on day 4 and my skin is starting to scab and become a little itchy, I also have a little black eye. My partner also had it the day after and his skin looks totally fine today so it for sure depends on the individual. I allocated a good 5-7 days to just wfh and chill so the downtime hasn’t been an inconvenience for me. I still feel like I have a few more days until the marks will clear

Do you know how deep your treatment went in mm by chance? Thanks

I believe he did 4mm where necessary and then did another 2 passes at either 2mm or 3mm. I know the neck and chin he went 4mm with the extra passes. He explained it all to me but I kinda forget lol

Awesome! How long did the healing of your face take? Do you see any improvement?
January 13, 2022
Honestly the healing took a while well over a week, some people say there’s zero downtime but I would have to disagree. Pigmentation on my cheeks virtually disappeared the glow 1 week after the first treatment was insane and I can’t wait for my second one

Just had my second treatment today but posted my photo before vs 4 weeks after my first treatment

Day 4

Winnietee
You can see the superficial grid marks on my face if feels a little itchy and I have a small black eye but i allocated a good 7 or so days to recover so I’m not inconvenienced. This treatment is intense and not just a “lunch time” procedure as I’ve seen advertised a lot. I’ve just been washing my face once a day PM with a mild wash and then applying cicalfate cream 3 times a day. I believe recovery is super important to achieve maximum results

I never did my eyes so no black eyes. I’ve had 3 treatments with no medication or pain killers cause I wanted to drive home & i’ve been fine with any other kind of treatment. The only thing that bothered me was the sound it makes sounds similar to a stapler gun, so I would bring my ear buds and listen to music and think about laying on a beach in Hawaii…was a breeze & awesome treatment!

Oops forgot to mention zero down time for me all times. Red face, tight sun burnt feeling the first night, fine the next day. You can take antihistamines for any swelling & I used a stem cell serum right after & for three days. Back to new again & looking great!
