I am now 3 weeks post op today! I feel incredible! I am still swollen, but that is completely normal. My incisions are healing very nicely and I have no pain whatsoever! I have been standing straight for about 2 weeks now. I have been back at work for about 2 weeks. Keep in mind that I have a desk job and I do not have to get up a lot or lift anything. Also, my doctor suggested I wait 2 weeks before going back to work. I am getting around find and feel great. I massage my incisions twice per day. I am not using scar treatments yet, my doctor said that I may not even need it so I am waiting a couple of months. Overall, I am 1 million % happy and I am only 3 weeks post op! I am very excited to see the continued healing! I cannot stress enough how being in shape to begin with has helped the healing progress go so smoothly! I am adiment about exercise, and not just a casual walk, I love to run, spin, run stairs...anything that is a challenge and considered intense! It really has made all the difference in this recovery process, and its just begun!!

I was a pretty big girl growing up and then I lost 50lbs right out of highschool, only to gain back 60 in college, then lose 60 again, then get pregnant (and gain 60!) Then I lost the weight again and kept it off for years. Of course, after all of the hard work, what I was left with was lots of skin on my tummy! After 15 years of wishing and I finally got to have a tummy tuck and while I was at it, a breast augmentation. I did not want to go big, just fill up what I had :)
My results are amazing! And even more so, my recovery is going great! I have such an amazing doctor who truly surpassed any kind of results that I could dream of! I am beyond happy with my results and I am only a little over 1 week postop! I cant wait to see how it continues to change and shape up even more!! If I can give anyone any advice it would be to make sure that you are in good physical health before doing this. It makes the healing process so much easier. Also, shop around and find a doctor and an office that feel comfortable with and that you like. Do NOT, I repeat, Do NOT go with someone just because they are the cheapest around. This kind of surgery is not something that you want to skimp on, you want someone who is going to take your well being into consideration at all times and someone who also wants the best results possible for you. They should consider this surgery a reflection on themselves as well!
