One sad chick!
So it's been almost a year PO and I still love the size of my breast but I end up with thick scarring which my doctor say are hypertrophic. I'm so upset bc I asked my doctor numerous times would my scars turn this way due to the fact that when I got my tubes tied my scar turned keloid and he assured me they wouldn't. I hesitated on posting this bc I hate the outcome so much. I go days without wearing a bra bc no matter what kind I wear it hurt so bad. I have tried the strips and now my only options left are injections or surgery. I haven't made up my mind for either bc I'm scared that it will only get worse. I love the fact of not having any back pain but the way I feel I will take the back pain again over this any day. I kind of hate I had this surgery!
7 weeks PO and having trouble
I'm 7 weeks PO and I woke up in terrible pain this morning. My left breast where the scar meets is very hard and hurts so bad. I haven't been able to wear a bra with wire yet so I don't understand what could be causing the pain. The doctor told me to put gauze to help with the bra rubbing against it. I really haven't had any complaints about this surgery but with all the pain I'm having now makes me wish I hadn't of had it. I love the results but I thought with time everything would be getting better instead of the opposite. I'm trying not to be a burden but I don't know how long I can take this pain. Yes, my pain meds help a lot but I wanna be able to enjoy my new look.
4 weeks post op
Today makes 4 weeks since I've had my surgery. I still have a little fluid on the right side of the right breast but still nothing major. I'm very happy with my results other than the itching lol. I finally had to snip the stitch that was aggravating me. I'm happy that my scars are very minimal but with the help of mederma I should be very pleased. I wouldn't change a thing about having this surgery except having done it earlier in my life. I have a keloid scar from having my tubes tied but the doctor told me he doesn't see any signs of my scars doing the same. How do I deal with the sensation of burning of the nipple area when I'm cold UGH? Still no complaints Will post more pics soon.
