Deep plane facelift revision.

WORTH IT$22,001
It is now almost a year since my facelift revision. I feel Dr Glasgold did a wonderful job. The skin has relaxed somewhat. I can still see jowls although they are not as prominent as before the surgery.

I don't know, I don't think the new facelift is any tighter than your first photo. It looks like the doctor gave you ptosis.

I'm very very sorry for what you man has put your through.

The eye is from a previous surgery from a ps who removed too much skin. I’ve been working with a doctor in NYC for the past 1 1/2 yr. to repair it. I’ve had 4 surgeries. Still need another surgery. It’s very difficult to repair when too much tissue has been removed.
When this occurs.

Hello, I was checking on you as you had commented to me about my Facelift. How are you doing now? Is the latest photo how you look now? If so, you’re looking great! I read where you’re waiting on another surgery.....when will that be.
Oh I’m 2weeks out!! Got all the staples out yday!!! No bruising but of course still swelling. That’s ok though,...I’m happy

Thanks for reaching out. I’m happy to hear you’re doing well. I would like to see your photos.
I did have another lower lid revision. The lid is still drooping a little and my eye seems dry most of the time. I’m not sure more surgery will improve it.
I haven’t posted an updated photo of myself yet.
Let me know how you’re doing and if you’re happy with the results of your surgery.

I’m glad you were able to have your other surgery, and hopefully it will help some. I think you look great as you were :).
I posted some photos, finally this week. I guess just click on my name and it will take you to them. This site is difficult to navigate! Take care!

Hi! Is it possible to get ectropion from only removing fat not skin? I had that done along with a revision deep plane plus some lower lid CO2 and I am already experiencing that on one eye. I am beside myself. Also, did you notice with your deep plane did it change the shape of your face? I had a SMAS 5 yrs ago and just a couple of weeks ago had a deep plane by a different surgeon and I fear I don't look like myself at ALL anymore. I know it's early and there's still significant swelling but this feels way more drastic than that. Thank you!

Waiting....

It's been almost a month since my facelift revision by Dr Glasgold, Highland Park, N.J. The swelling has subsided so the skin is becoming more lax. Hopefully it remains as is without any further laxity.
I had a deep plane facelift with oral and light sedation which meant no intubation required which in my opinion is great. I felt no pain and remembered very little of the procedure. There were no bandages or drains. The recovery was excellent. Only a few days of discomfort. Dr. Glasgold has specific instructions to help reduce bruising and it works.
I am still waiting to have eyelid surgery to repair the ectropion caused by a different PS. I pray Dr. Lissauer, NYC can be successful with making my eyes look normal. It has been a very long process and difficult for me to look like this.

Hi what did the dr do to repair your facelift ? was it difficult ? i had last year a face lift also , and i think my skin is not as tight as was after the surgery , im thinking also of doing something
June 13, 2017
It was not difficult. He uses no bandages or drains. Dr. Glasgold does deep plane facelifts which are suppose to be better for facelift revisions. I'm almost 5 weeks post op. I am anxious to see how my skin responds with laxity in several months from now. Dr. Mark Glasgold, Highland Park, NJ has an excellent reputation as a facial plastic surgeon.

I am happy for you. Did the plastic surgeon who did such a bad job ever give you back your money. He had no right to tell you he would do a revision IF you had your eyes done first. When the patient is not happy with their facelift, it is proper protocol to do the revision at no charge. That doctor was not only incompetent, he was unethical. I am happy that you are now in capable hands.
All the best.

His insurance company will be working with me.

Glad to hear that. He needs to reimburse you for the money and for the revision.

Hi, I will go for revision also on 23 rd August, I talked to my Dr, did your Dr used general anesthesia?
June 14, 2017
No general anesthesia. He used oral medication I took an hour before then I've sedation. I felt no pain and remember very little of the surgery. It was great!

I am going tomorrow for revision surgery on both eyes. Previous PS took too much fat and skin from under my eyes. Now I have dry eyes as well as feeling like my eyes are being pulled down all the time. Occuloplastic surgeon is doing revision.

Ectropion

tne14
Dr Glasgold used Resytalane to fill the hollow areas under the eyes caused by the severe ectropion which occurred due to a lower blepharoplasty performed by a PS in Montclair. It is hoped this will reduce the appearance of the ectropion. I had already received grafts under both eyes by Dr. Boaz Lissauer, NYC and continue to work with him and Dr. Glasgold. There will be another surgery sometime this summer or fall by Dr. Lissauer to try and correct the remaining ectropion.
Both doctors, Dr. Mark Glasgold and Dr. Lissauer are tops in their fields. They are working together to give me the best outcome and I am grateful to both.
Dr. Mark Glasgold is kind and honest which is appreciated after all I've experienced. He is not the "jack of all trades" surgeon. He does only faces.

You have been through a lot. I'm glad you have found these 2 great surgeons to help you. Please keep us updated.

My heart goes out to you! Looks like the volume from restylane will really help once it smooths out.
May 31, 2017
How are you doing now?.
May 31, 2017
I have gone through almost the same thing!
June 19, 2017
I'm doing well with the recent facelift revision. I'm waiting to have surgery on the lower eye lids from the botched blepharoplasty. My lower lid droops because he removed too much skin. I've had grafts under both lids. Hopefully in August the ocularplastic surgeon will try to correct the drooping lower lid. He hopes to get some improvement.
It's been a nightmare.
How did you do with your eyelids?
June 19, 2017
I am recooperating right now, 4 days post op, so who knows. Had occuloplastic surgeon do this. Please stay in touch.

I wish you the best. I had a facelift 2 1/2 years ago by Dr. Michael Goden in Richmond Va. and did not work I was worse off then before I had the facelift. I just went through my second one with the best PS Dr. Michael Bridges in Midlothian Va. I am so pleased and happy. The first Dr. said he would redo for a price I would not let him touch my face again..one mistake was enough.. I guess I am lucky because I had no damage just didn`t work...Dr. Bridges is the best and people come from all over to see him...I am thankful I got him...

The eye isnt bad- I went thru the same thing-No one could fix it-just a lot for suffering- I think with makeup and some botox-maybe a face peel for skin- you would look perfect- It is difficult to correct even by the best. perhaps a little fat to fill out some uneven facial areas- I would not go near the eyes!
