I'm getting a lift with augmentation in 2 weeks....

I'm getting a lift with augmentation in 2 weeks. I'm undecided about what size to go. I'm in between 420-470 ccs silicone. Any suggestions? I want to go big, but not ridiculously big that it looks silly. I want a natural fullness. I'm nervous about what it will feel to have implants and how long it takes for you to get used to them? Please feel free to share your experiences with me.

Thanks for sharing your story with this community. If you want opinions on what size and type of implant to get, it would be helpful to post a "before" photo, if you feel comfortable doing that. Let me know if I can help!

I don't know your body type but I'm a pear and have the same stats but with an A/B. I have had a consultation and when he put the 450's in he said that it might look too big. I thought it looked great! I thought that it made my boobs proportionate to the rest of my body. I have also been googling like crazy and for our size I think the 450's are perfect. Good luck!

Yes, it's funny you said that. My surgeon said I probably will end up deciding in the middle at 450ccs high profile silicone under the muscle. I have my pre-op appt. tomorrow and my surgery is scheduled for July 30th. I'm getting nervous bc it's just around the corner. Thanks for the feedback. Good luck to you as well!!

I'm going back to the office to the on the sizers again. I don't want to be too big.

Don't stress out about the small difference in volume between the 420 and 470cc implant.
That amounts to just a fraction more than a "shot glass" of fluid.
The most important feature of picking an implant is that the diameter of the base fits your breast width.(not too narrow and not to wide).
3D imaging, sizing with sample implants and sharing published photos from the media will help you and your surgeon decide what will fit you best. A good surgeon may use an intra operative temporary sizer to make the final decision after the lift is done, while you are asleep during the surgery.
Trust an experienced surgeon and the final appearance will meet your expectations. Remember, there is no one perfect breast size. When done properly they will look and feel natural.
I find it takes approximately 6 weeks for most patients to "mentally adjust" to the change in body contour as the implant settles into place.
Good luck!

You're scheduled a day before me! Yay! I know you are excited! Have decided on a size yet? I'm starting at a 36C too and I went with 350cc. I'm sure I could have gone bigger but I really just wanna be a full D cup. I don't want the other extreme of not being able to find pretty bras in E and F cups. Good luck and keep us posted! When you're home eating crackers I'll be headed off for surgery!!!

Yes. I'm getting so nervous and second guessing myself. Ahhhh!!!! I downsized because when I went back and tried on the 450s were too huge and looked ridiculous. My surgeon will make final decision during surgery. It will be either 385 moderate or 400 moderate plus. I no longer can get the high profiles based on my chest width and the width the implants come in the sizes I liked.
