Mommy Makeover with Dr. Aldo Guerra in Scottsdale, AZ

I thought it would be worthwhile to update my post with what I think has been the hardest part of the ordeal, having a bowel movement. Days 6 and 7 hit me the hardest. I was constipated and it was all impacted. I had to give myself an enema more than once and thought I popped a couple stitches on my TT incision. I sat on the toilet crying and sometimes screaming. Awful experience. I had been taking the Colace starting 3 days prior to surgery and at my doctors recommendation I took a cocktail of milk of magnesium, prune juice and butter. Minus the butter. Yuck. Anyway, eventually it all worked itself out.
I think today is day 9. I go back to work Monday. I'm nervous but I work from home. I'm ready to get back to normal. Still spending most of my time in bed.

Today was my first post op appointment and I was super excited to see what I was looking like under all my dressings! Dr. Guerra did a fine job! I couldn't be happier with my results on day 5! Still very sore. I've eliminated the walker already, they told me it henders my progress. I couldn't get my drain out today.boo! I'm so ready to shower! Looks like it will be on my next appointment the 30th of December.

I've spent most of my time in and out of coherence because of all the prescription. Hats off to all the gals that are able to get off them early. I'm super swollen on my outer thighs and butt and the binder is super uncomfortable riding up all the time. The gals at the recovery center were awesome tending to my every need. Dr. Guerra did a superb job from what I can tell. I don't see him until Monday and hopefully by then I can post some new pics of my new bod! Merry Christmas to me and all who read this.
