6wks Post-Op already
WORTH IT
I cant believe Iv hit the 6 week mark. This has been truly one of the most challenging yet rewarding experiences for me. I am overall beyond happy with how my body is coming along. I finally weighed in last week and lost 8lbs of loose skin from where I was pre-op. All the scabbing was gone by 4 weeks (except for one in the back where the drain was due to a forgotten stitch).
My tummy was very tight on one side so I have been massaging it daily and has loosened up some. Otherwise y scar looks and feels great, just continuing Silagen scar gel (since the embrace sheets that the Dr recommend gave me a rash). My belly button is healing great with ZERO signs of a tummy tuck; yay!
I had a little issue with my right breast, the bottom surgical line was beginning to ‘invert’, I quickly sent pictures messages to the Dr who re-assured it was the sutures, so increased massages, heard lots of snapping and popping, and problem resolved.
I have continued lymphatic massages since being home and have gone jogging to continue the healing process.
I have been sleeping (the past 3 nights) without my compression garments and its been great.
So far so good, cant wait to keep seeing my results improve, and for the ‘pooch’ to resolve.

1 week PO
Im 1 week out and I’ve left my walker behind! Im still not standing up straight but have made great progress. I am not talking any more medication of any kind, and still make an emphasis to walk frequently. Swelling is still present but getting better. I get my last drain removed tomorrow (tummy tuck drain removed yesterday at my massage appointment). I am left handed and my left breast is delaying its drop, the right is already making good progress. I applied a little added pressure to try and even it out.
So far loving my new tummy and cant believe this is what I look like. My breasts are going to be the perfect size for me, and cannot wait to see my final results!

You look great! I personally know a few of his post op patients and they all look phenomenal in person! Did you get implants as well? Was it only a lift?
Lift with 325 cc implants. Truthfully I didnt even discuss CC’s, I left it up to him and very glad I did:).

Post op
Well, I finally did it. I was so nervous coming to the DR and questioning my decision. After my flights, I was quickly re-assured I made the right decision for me. After getting off the plane my recovery house rep found me and brought me to Areli’s. She has been nothing but kind and professional, and the food has been amazing. Her experience with post-op care has been reassuring. She has been coordinating with the doctors office directly, so she can organize all her outings.
The day after arrival I had my pre-op apt, which went phenomenal. He explained everything in great detail and has been honest and upfront. I could go on and on but my provider review will go into better detail. I arrived on surgery day and before I knew it I was back in the recovery room. The first night was brutal, and I have yet to see my full results but its a relief when the doc is excited for me and is confident in his work.
