Tummy Tuck and Breast Reduction with Dr. Lisa Peters

Getting better each day

WORTH IT
Each day I’m feeling a bit better. My TT incision gets sore and part of it is swollen I think... it feels like there is a crayon under he skin? It’s hard to explain—it’s puffy and somewhat hard and it sticks out. My breast incision under my armpit has the same thing. It’s sensitive to the touch as well.
Because I have a few places on my incision line that are still scabby, I’ve been putting Neosporin on it instead of the silicone scar sheets. Once the scabs are all healed, I’ll start the silicone sheets.
My stomach muscles are also sensitive to the touch, but I read in our people’s posts that it can feel that way for months.
I’m walking my dog more and doing household chores again. Although, I’m really looking forward to the day I can start working out again! My arms have lost all their muscle mass and feel like blobs. I’ve gained back my full appetite and then some, so I’m trying to watch it and make healthy choices for a speedy recovery!
And I’d say that I can stand up about 95% upright! It’s still very tight, but I can do it!

Any new updates?
I'd also love to hear/see an update:)
Are you overall happy with Dr. peters? I’m considering a consult with her. I’ve heard mixed things about her bedside manner. Would you say her surgical skills were what you were hoping for?
I really am SO happy. My 22 year old daughter wants a breast reduction and I'd recommend Dr. Peters 100%! She does great work and I'm really happy with her results.
I had a consult with Dr Peters and she seems amazing! I also love all the photos of her work. I have several good surgeons out here near Plainfield however I made the ride to Chicago to see her. I'd love to see how you progress. I'm hoping maybe one day to do a tt. I was going to do an ideal implant but after doing a couple years of research about all implants and some of the hidden illnesses they can cause I decided against it. I'm super sad though because I wanted to pull mommy makeover

Last drain out!

Yesterday I got my last drain out! I feel like I’m free!!! I also drove for the first time... 35 minutes each way to doctor and back. It wasn’t bad at all—definitely doable. And, I took my dog for a walk around the block! I’m feeling better and my appetite came back, so that’s good. My next step is to have the steri-strips fall off and start silicone scar gel as well as trying to stand up straight! Progress!!!

Updates?
I'm so happy you had a safe and healthy healing process
How’s the pain/discomfort? Are you walking more straight?
It's so much better. Just a little incision pain, a little sore stomach muscle pain, and lots of pain when my nipples get hard. Wow does that hurt. But I'm doing good and I'm definitely walking and standing more upright!

Wow you look amazing already!! You must so be excited! And it will only get better!
Hi, Question for you. What size bra did you buy for your recovery? I don’t know if I should buying my size now or a bit smaller?
For the bras I bought, I looked at the sizing chart and used my current band size and then used C cup. I bought Fruit of the Loom ones from amazon and used band size 38 because most of my bras were 38 or 36 DDD. The Fruit of the Loom bras aren't as comfy as my Brabic post surgical bra, also from amazon. I looked at sizing chart and ordered XL. I highly recommend the Brabic bra.
Thanks! I will look at the Branic bra. Already ordered the fruit of the loom and they seem ok just not enough support.
You look amazing!!!
This is so exciting!!!
