Getting better each day

Each day I’m feeling a bit better. My TT incision gets sore and part of it is swollen I think... it feels like there is a crayon under he skin? It’s hard to explain—it’s puffy and somewhat hard and it sticks out. My breast incision under my armpit has the same thing. It’s sensitive to the touch as well.
Because I have a few places on my incision line that are still scabby, I’ve been putting Neosporin on it instead of the silicone scar sheets. Once the scabs are all healed, I’ll start the silicone sheets.
My stomach muscles are also sensitive to the touch, but I read in our people’s posts that it can feel that way for months.
I’m walking my dog more and doing household chores again. Although, I’m really looking forward to the day I can start working out again! My arms have lost all their muscle mass and feel like blobs. I’ve gained back my full appetite and then some, so I’m trying to watch it and make healthy choices for a speedy recovery!
And I’d say that I can stand up about 95% upright! It’s still very tight, but I can do it!

Last drain out!

Yesterday I got my last drain out! I feel like I’m free!!! I also drove for the first time... 35 minutes each way to doctor and back. It wasn’t bad at all—definitely doable. And, I took my dog for a walk around the block! I’m feeling better and my appetite came back, so that’s good. My next step is to have the steri-strips fall off and start silicone scar gel as well as trying to stand up straight! Progress!!!
