2 week post op visit

I had my two week post op visit today. I can’t believe, I will be 3 weeks post op in a few days. I feel great. Last drain and tape was removed today. I was told by PS to start scar treatment. I bought SkinMedica from the PS. I absolutely love my results. I looking forward to getting the green light to carry my 18 month old and start working out-Dr said I have to wait 3 more weeks to do both. I posted pics prior to my visit and after.

Thank you! I’m no longer walking hunched over, but I do find that when I walk a lot I get muscle tightness in the ab area. I also get winded easily. I took my two older kids to the movies today and I took long nap when I got back home. Don’t rush recovery, we will eventually be back to our old selves in due time. I believe the worst is over for us- hopefully!

How has it been not holding or picking up baby? That is one of my biggest concerns, I have a 2 year old.

Itchy Hell

Recovery is going well.Today I reached a new milestone- itchy hell. Forget swell he’ll the itchiness is driving me nuts. I took Benadryl and am still itchy. Do you ladies have recommendations on what to take other than Benadryl? I will reach out to my PS tomorrow as well.

Yes, I had a breast lift with implants. Natrelle round silicone implants. 320 cc on L and 360 cc on R. I so had tummy tuck with muscle repair.

I've been using cortizone-10 eczema cream on my itchy tummy and breasts. It moisturizes and keeps the itching at bay. I'll take benadryl at night to help me sleep through the itchiness.

Today is my fifth day post op and I was able to get up and make breakfast for the kids. I’m getting my energy back and feeling more and more like myself. Just concerned about my belly button- it looks like it has a bit of pus coming out of it. Hoping it isn’t infected.
