Things have been going great. I am still feeling any extra strain on my abdominal muscles, and I still wear a binder to work for the extra support and compression. I swell up a lot when I don’t, which I’m sure will end at some point. Scarring is still pretty dark but is making progress. Under-the-muscle breast implants can move freakishly when the muscles are flexed, but they’re squishy and I’m glad I got them. That’s about it!

Hi there. I just read your review, it’s very helpful. Your results are fantastic! I have a question though. I looked up Lovenox injections and I wondered....does everyone need this? I have not heard of it and my doc hasn’t mentioned it so I wonder if I should ask about it. Thanks in advance!
Hi, and thank you! Lovenox is kind of tricky. It's a blood thinner and it's used to help protect you from getting a blood clot post operatively. I know not all surgeons use it, and from what I've read it should really be a matter of risk versus reward based on the needs of each patient. My PS prescribes the injections for everyone, but I think that has more to do with the fact that he practices in Miami and has minimal contact with his patients than anything else. If I had to guess I'd say that the destination surgeons who have a lot of people flying in and out and aren't closely monitoring their patients prescribe it as a fail safe. But I really don't know. You might get much better (clearer) answers if you post it as a general question to the RS surgeons, and definitely ask your surgeon too!

I am 6ft 180lb. My great size is 38DD right now. I have my mommy makeover schedule for oct. I mostly want to be lifted and fuller. I don’t need huge boobs but don’t want them sagging anymore either. I see you did 415cc. What size are you now? Thanks. Still trying to figure out how to get lift and volume back but not look like a porn star
I'm a 36 D or a 34 DD depending on the brand. I don't love the feel of the implants, I think they are kind of hard and porny looking, but I had very little breast tissue to start with. My friends who had more existing tissue to work with look great and don't seem to be bothered by it at all so I'm sure you'll look amazing with a larger implant.
Dr ended up putting in 540cc. I am exactly the same size as pre surgery but just full and lifted. It’s just what I wanted and asked for. I am very happy with the results. I’ll be updating photos today or tomorrow

I’m also on the fence about getting a breast augmentation at the same time. How did you decide on your shape/size? Do you wish you had gone bigger/smaller? How did it affect your wardrobe? Mondor’s cords!

So, mondor’s cords are a self-correcting yet scary looking complication, and I has them. These are apparently veins that were cauterized during BA surgery and have now filled with blood. They are only visible under my right breast when I raise my right arm all the way. They should go away on their own.
My BB still looks pretty gross, but the hole is closing and the area looks healthy. I think the skin is still so taut that it’s pulling it flat and round because when I bend over it looks a lot better. As it relaxes I’m hoping it looks more like a belly button and less like a chewed up piece of pepperoni.
Overall though, damn, this is such a huge change for me. I’m so happy I did this.

His private practice. I live in the middle of both. I decided to opt for an ambulance ride back home after surgery. I am doing a posterior lift.
That’s the only way I can think of to get out of the hospital safely laying down. So here goes... lol
