Happy Mom of 3 - such a quick and painless recovery

Happy Mom of 3
WORTH IT
Two months ago I underwent a MMO with Dr. Rahban. Im 5'4, 145lb. After three kids my body was just not the same. After meeting with two other well known doctors in BH I decided to go with Dr. Rahban. My initial consultation with him was worlds apart from the other two. It was extremely detailed. Dr. Rahban took his time, probably well over an hour and a half, to explain every little detail and why things needed to be done a certain way, for example scars, their placement and the length to achieve the desired look. Needless to say my results are amazing, 8 weeks later and already so natural and beautiful. Scars are paper thin and fading out nicely. When I show family the result they don't even comment on my belly button because it looks so natural it kind of gets overlooked until I point it out. What I really want to touch on is how easy the recovery was. It was probably a hundred times easier than what I was preparing myself for. From all the reviews in groups, YouTube videos, and just word of mouth, all I heard was how brutal the recovery is, but how worth it it all is in the end. I'm here to tell you my recovery was the most relaxing time I have had in the last 8 years of being a mom (outside of being on vacation alone with my husband). I don't know what kind of drugs he put in me, but I didn't feel an ounce of pain after surgery. For the first 3 nights I stayed at a recovery center. Dr. Rahban requires only 24 hrs, but I knew I didn't want to get back home right away and a) not have someone taking care of me 24 hrs a day and b) freak out my young kids, have them try to climb on me and ask a million questions. I just wanted to relax. This was the best decision. If you are able to, I highly recommend budgeting for at least 48hrs at a recovery center, it makes a huge difference. As for the pain, I never felt it. I was under norco for the first 24 hrs, second day we altered between Tylenol and norco, third day only Tylenol, and that's it. By day 4 pain meds were no longer needed. I was extremely sore and my movement was limited but the nurses would prop me up so comfortably on the bed that I just slept most of the time. Once I went home I was just taking it easy, doing some light chores but mainly laying down. By day 6 or 7 I was driving my kids to/from camp, even though it wasn't recommended, but I felt pretty much back to normal. However, that's not to say you won't need help. If you have small children who still need to be picked up, you will need help for the 6 weeks following your surgery. The binder was by far the most unfomrotable thing about the whole procedure, I hated wearing the thing especially in 100degree summer heat. I started to get really swollen on my upper abdomen once the binder was fully gone, I recently started getting lymphatic massages and they help tremendously. You get what you pay for with Dr. Rabhan, he's extremely talented and meticulous. I was pretty sure he would give me great results, but I did not expect to have such a quick and painless recovery.
