Surgeon from Hell
Hi Dolls; before you consider Dr Alfred Sofer for any Cosmetic Surgery please read about my experience.
My name is Monique height 5.5 weight 145lbs, Procedure received Mommy Makeover, just like anyone considering plastic surgery I did my research, and after months of digging I decided to choose Dr Sofer based on reviews I seen online and YouTube. Granted all of the reviews I seen were from Caucasian women but I didn’t think nothing of it, assuming that surgeons are none racist or bias but boy was I wrong. My procedure was performed at CG Cosmetics in Miami FL, the staff at the clinic was amazing very attentive answered all questions, they provided overall great ocustomer service. I met Dr Sofer about 10min before my surgery, he entered the room with very low energy, his bedside manners were awful, and when I informed him of the results I was seeking, which was a flat abdomen and to reduce my love handles to create a hourglass figure. His response was you have loose skin. Being that I’m a small woman in stature and already had a nice frame I didn’t think it was too much to ask, considering all the other woman I seen that he performed the same procedure on, who had amazing results most much bigger than I am. My results are not what I was looking forward to at all, one of my Brest is noticeably larger than the other, my Tummy tuck scar is very uneven after 5 1/2 months I still lack feeling in my lower abdomen, my lower abdomen is completely numb, my abdomen is not flat at all, my belly button have small holes around it, which makes it look fake, and I can still see my old navel piercing at the bottom of my stomach which indicates that not enough skin was removed, which resulted in a botch Tummy tuck. Now let’s talk about the sutures aka stitches; The Dr left behind so much threading under my Brest that I had to get it removed by my PCP, I was told that the threading was dissolvable which it was but he left so much on end my personal Dr had to cut it off. The sutures for my tummy tuck were worse, on my left side he left 3-4 inches of threading just sticking out initially I tried pulling it thinking it was a piece of fabric from my initial compression garment but when I pulled on it I felt pain so I took a closer look and noticed it was suture threading so I cut it off. But that’s not the only problem when I apply healing gel to my scar I can feel tiny piece of threading it feels like dead skin, but it’s not. Dr Sofer have left threading sticking out of my scar on the left and right side to the point when I put on underwear, the thread get attached to the lace.Attached you’ll find pictures of me post opt and 5 1/2 months pre opt. In the pictures you’ll see the thread that is still sticking out of my stomach. You’ll also see the Botched Tummy Tuck scar which has reshaped my frame as well as my uneven Brest. Dr Sofer if u are indeed a racist you should decline working on Women of Color, you have destroyed my frame I now have to spend even more money to correct ur Mistakes. As a patient you’ve disappointed me I’m extremely dissatisfied with my results and aim to make all Women of Color aware of your incompetence, and dislike for our community. In conclusion Dolls research is key, not only focus on the results you’re seeking but also be attentive to the nationality of the patient that the procedures are preformed on...Unfortunately Surgeons are Racist too....
