13 Days Post-Op
Got my second drain out today - HALLELUJAH! I feel so free! Haha.
Feeling really good. I do notice abdominal swelling at night but nothing abnormal. Still have all my tape on. I can trim it as it starts to come off on its own but I’m not supposed to pull it off. If it’s still on at my next follow-up in 2 weeks the doctor said he’ll remove it. Excited for that and to see the whole picture!

Post Op Day 5
Able to stand up a little straighter. I switched to two sports bras instead of the surgical bra that was pressing the incisions. It feels much better but still provides compression. Stomach is still quite swollen and sore so still taking oxycodone but otherwise doing okay! Cannot wait to get the drains out though. The skin around those is pretty sore and I’m tired of carrying them around.
Post Op Day 2
Still sore. The bra is killing me around my rib cage and right up under each breast where the incisions are. I even left a couple snaps open at the bottom. Going to have to see if I can find something different that provides some support/compression to the breasts but doesn’t dig into the incisions.
