I'm scheduled for my mommy make over on 12/3. My nerves are starting to kick in. I will be having a breast augmentation, tummy tuck and also lipo of the flanks. I do not know any one personally that has had any of these procedures!
I'm a very happily married momma of 3 boys, 9,6&3. Over the past two years, I've lost 60ish lbs, with hard work and determination. I am 5'7", 185ish lbs, and 33 years old. I just want to look in the mirror and see something I feel good about after all my hard work!
Any tips, advice, tricks, words of wisdom or even just do's and don't's, or sharing of your own experience is welcomed. Thanks and wish me luck!

Day 1 PO Update
Momof3LildudesDecember 5, 2019
I’m crossing over into day 2 of recovery. The day of surgery was rough, recovery wise. I had gas pains due to the anesthesia. That did not help with he abominable soreness. My dr showed my husband and I post surgery pic. WOW! My breasts are a bit achy but hardly sore. I took the ace bandage off and put on a nice supportive sports bra. As of today, my abdomen is better than it was day of surgery and day 1 PO. Still having a lot of gas and hoping for a BM tomorrow. I’ve been drinking a lot of fluids, taking some stool softener and have begun to pass lots of gas, lol.

Praying for you to have a speedy recovery. I had my mm 11/22/19. For me 1rst 3 days were rough after that it get so much better. Rest and take it easy. I stopped hydro meds after 3 days and switched to extra strength tylenol. The hydro made me even gassy and uncomfortable. Good luck

Thank you! That's I hopeful because it's been a little rough these few days (I too am very gassy lol!) but I have noticed each day has been a bit better or 'easier' (if you will) than the day prior. Thank you for the kind thoughts!

Day 3 Post-Op
Momof3LildudesDecember 7, 2019
Things are improving so much each day! Don’t over due it but make sure to get up and walk like they tell you to, as well as stay on top of your pain meds and stool softener. They also encourage you to stand as straight as possible, as much as possible too. I finally took a shower today as well, and had a BM today too! My appetite is back, but I cannot eat as much because of my tummy not being able to stretch as much. I’m eating smaller, clean, lower sodium, meals. Everyone at Dr. Deboni’s office is fantastic and wonderfully caring. My procedure consisted of breast augmentation, lipo on the abdomen, flanks and a tummy tuck, with muscle repair. My chest is hardly sore. The cuts are a bit sore and are starting to itch. My lipo sites are sore, as well as the muscle repair. My back though, from being hunched over, is the worst! I’ve been icing my back and chest to ease pain though and that seems to help. Also, switched to a sports bra on day 1 post-op and that helped. My belly is also starting to be itchy! I don’t mind the drains yet, because they are a necessary evil and I’d rather have them than get a seroma (sp?)!

I’m one day ahead of you post-op (my surgery was on Monday 12/2/19) and I agree about the back pain. I can handle the pain in my breasts and abdomen, but the back pain is so intense that I can barely sleep at night. I tried a muscle relaxer last night but that only helped for about 2 hours. I’m really hoping to be able to stand straighter soon so I can start to get some relief! I hope your recovery continues to go well!

Thank you - you too! I've found for myself that icing my back and sitting up as straight as possible helps some with the back pain as well. I feel much better once I ice for 30-mins walk a short bit around the house and then continue the cycle. I did that yesterday to try and help because whewwww you're right, that back pain!

My surgery was 12/4 and my back is the worst pain.

Try to ice if you're able and sit as straight as possible that will help you to be able to slowly stand straighter. The back pain is the worst though!!

Hey! Actually better than I had expected!! I am almost walking upright and I'm off pain meds except for ibuprofen and Tylenol. I did not think I'd be saying that! Also I will add some updated pics tonight hopefully!
