I went with a local board certified plastic surgeon in Denver and the thing that sets Dr Hasan and his team apart is that you can tell immediately when you meet him that he really cares about you as a person. He wants you to have good results, and he's also very personable and remembers specific details about you and your family members and that was really important to me because I know he has a lot of patients. The fact that he remembered my particular situation really stood out to me. When you meet him, you immediately feel at ease. I had multiple consultations and his before and after pictures were by far the best. His belly buttons are hands down the best and his goal is to make you as natural looking as possible and he definitely excels in that-my scars look great-healing was great. I think aftercare is extremely important when choosing a plastic surgeon and Dr. Hasan knows not just a lot about surgery, but also his staff and he are very experienced with after care (he has had lots of experience with surgery and reconstruction). They will respond to you after hours and on weekends, even Dr. Hasan himself, and they will let you know how to take care of any questions you have post op. He called me on Christmas Day to make sure I didn't have any questions prior to my surgery the following day-which was so reassuring.
