Failed muscle repair & breasts are boxy on the bottom

Dr. G would not honor his revision policy and fix my issues. The issues he refused to correct included my hypertrophic T incision and excessive skin in my lower stomach area. I communicated my concerns regarding my lower belly days after my surgery as I was immediately disappointed with how it looked. He reassured me it would improve. While yes the swelling went down, my scar became like a thick rope and my excess skin bunched a lot in my lower stomach area. Because he would not honor the revision I had to find another surgeon. My new surgeon fixed my scar and when doing so he noticed my lower belly had a bulge, when he checked he saw my muscle repair had failed.
My breast aren’t great either. They are boxy on the bottom, flat on the side boob area and very high and pulled to the middle. My scars are very thick underneath my breast.
Overall, it was a disappointing experience and even more disappointing to have my surgeon refuse to fix issues that clearly required repairing - it felt very disingenuous.

Failed muscle repair

Dr. G would not honor his revision policy so I found another surgeon to fix my issues. The issues he refused to correct was my hypertrophic scar at my T incision and excess skin in my lower belly region. My new surgeon fixed my scar but also noticed my lower belly had a bugle and when he looked my muscle repair had failed so he fixed it. I am happy Dr. G denied me because I now have an entirely flat lower belly and I am not sure Dr. G could have achieved this result.

1 Year Update

There is definitely an improvement of my pre surgery body vs my post surgery body, so no regret there. There are some imperfections I would have loved Dr. G to address as part of his revision policy but that is not the case for me. I highly recommend dolls to validate that your doctor will truly honor the revision policy. This may mean clarifying what your surgeon defines as revision worthy or not, also seeing dolls who have openly discussed their doctor fixing things upon their request. I do believe one surgery will not lead to perfect result and so choosing someone who recognizes this and willing to make you happy is an important trait to look for in your surgeon!! I’m having consults now to find the perfect second round surgeon to fix the things I don’t love which includes the bunching of my lower incision area, the thick raised T incision scar (which I believe should ugh been covered by a revision) my hip dips and second round BBL to round my booty out some (which I would expect to pay for out of pocket).
