Breast reduction & abdominoplasty with Dr. Eleonore Zetrenne, exceptional

I am currently three weeks post-op from my breast reduction and abdominoplasty performed by Dr. Elenore Zetrenne, also known as Dr. Z, and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience.

First and foremost, I was very happy with the hospital (Northwell) in NYC where I had my surgery. The staff was exceptional, and having had multiple surgeries in different hospitals, I can confidently say they put me at ease. I know it might sound silly, but I hate being cold and having anxiety, so I travel with my heated blanket. To my delight, they had little under-gown heaters ready to go, which made me feel so relaxed. I just remember waking up feeling tired and cozy. I didn't feel rushed, and when I was ready, they got me to the car and off to go home. Pain was minimum. I was just super tired the 1st week. Barely used the narcotics. She uses the best pain management and ensures she gets you the optimum results!

I randomly found Dr. Z on this site after following breast reduction forums for a long time and having consultations with other doctors. I was initially nervous because she did not have a lot of reviews in NYC, but after reading her bio and education, I was very impressed with her focus on microsurgery. This made me think that she has an interest in not just surgery but the artistry of it all.

During the first consultation, I felt like I was talking to a friend rather than someone just telling me what they were going to do and their dislike for insurance. Dr. Z took the time to listen to my concerns and answer all my questions, which made me feel confident in my decision to proceed with her.

We had two televisits and 2-3 in-person visits before the surgery, so I felt confident that she understood the outcome I was looking for and also had empathy for the issues I've had from previous surgeries. She also had dates that aligned perfectly with my vacation time. I did go partially with insurance, and she was out of network, which I had to cover a large percentage on my own, but I'd rather have the peace of mind. She was just so easy to work with. Her team is also amazing and patient and quickly respond.

I really believe in her and am happy she has relocated to NYC. I want her business to grow because she set a new standard for surgeons and communication. I even want to work for her part-time if I could because I think if she keeps her business more boutique-like, she and her clients will be happy. I also realized that she doesn't have a lot of reviews because she prefers word of mouth and more discreet clientele like myself. Due to my profession, I can't post pics of my results even though I want to, but many of us professional women can't afford that risk. However, I will take a partial risk to spread the word. When I am further along I will also add pics.

Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the results and the care I received from Dr. Z and her team. I highly recommend her to anyone considering breast reduction or abdominoplasty.
