It’s been a while since I’ve updated. Life has been life-ing and my surgery journey continues. I try to keep sane by not nitpicking. It’s hard not to stay out of the mirror. It’s hard staying out of the surgery groups comparing everything and everyone with what I see. My right hip is a bit rounder than my left. The top of my breasts are not as full as before. My scars are healing and I have hypopigmentation. My belly button may have hypertrophic scarring. Despite these things that bother me-there are positives. I have no serious complications; I like how my breasts aren't saggy as before, and I have some ab definition. It’s been a challenge finding things to wear. My waist is smaller, and my hips are wider, so my old pants/skirts are too big for me. My weapon of choice are midi dresses. I get them cheap from Shein. I need to shop for new bras because my cup size has decreased. I want to try out SKIMS and Pepper. They seem to accommodate small cup sizes and their wireless. At some point, I will need to do a major overhaul with everything that I have and purchase new items or get them tailored.
I was working out but there was 1 week I was doing core exercises and a few days afterward I experienced some pain in my abdomen. I thought I messed up my muscle repair! So now I do 15 min walks around my neighborhood. I may purchase a stationary bike to stay active. I am watching what I eat and I continue to drink lots of water and take my daily vitamins.
I am giving myself a year and a half to determine what I want to do next. Maybe a round 2 for liposculpture & possibly fat transfer to my breasts. Maybe the Aveli treatment for the cellulite on my butt & thighs. Maybe paramedical tattoo/camouflage for my scars. Or maybe I don't do anything at all because things do start to settle into the right places.
I’ll update again in a few months. Until next time beauties!

Time Moves So Slow Yet So Fast
It's been 3 months! There are days that I love my results and then there are days where I feel like meh. Comparison is truly the thief of joy. Sometimes I get obsessed with fixing every little thing that I see. It doesn't help that I am in various surgery groups either. Body dysmorphia a real thing. When I start to feel down, it takes prayer and positive affirmations to shift my perspective. My support system helps me too. I am grateful to have them. That's why progress pictures are so important throughout this journey! When I look at my pre-op pictures I know it was all worth it.
I am going through the pinkish healing phase now. I can see areas where my pigment is coming back. I am focusing on keeping my scars as flat as possible and moisturized. Unfortunately, I am allergic to silicone creams/gel. I learned the hard way:( so I am applying more natural based products to my incisions like cocoa/shea butter and pure aloe vera gel. I tape my TT incision with 3M brown micropore tape and change that out every week. It helps keep the incisions stay flat. I probably don't have to do this but I feel like it's adding some type of protection. When I don't tape, my scars raise a bit higher and feel more bumpy. I have 2 small scabs under the T-incision on my breasts so I am waiting for those to fall off before I start taping. I still use gauze & tape in my belly button because my foam boards apply pressure to that area and the goal is to keep the incisions flat. This experience is truly trial & error and I've quickly learned that what works for some does not work for me. This allows me to get in tune with my body and if something doesn't feel right, I stop immediately. I wear my faja 23/7 and I get massages 2x a week. I get IV drips 1x a month to help speed up my recovery. I drink 64 ounces of water a day, take vitamins, and really try hard to cut back on carbs, salt, and sugar. I plan to begin light exercises in another week or so. The muscle repair is no joke!
I have partnered with an amazing aesthetician who has proven success with lightning up surgical scars. We will start around 6 months. I have looked into a local PMU artist for areola regimentation just in case it doesn't come back. I don't plan on doing that until I am 1 year post op. This is truly a process and every week my body is changing. I am still satisfied and I knew my breasts were not an easy case. I still recommend Dra Guzman. Pictures/video attached.

You look amazing! Did you have a bbl as well or just the lipo on the flanks, tummy tuck, and breast lift?
Thank you! No BBL just the lipo, TT and breast lift

What You Really Came Here To See
Pictures and a short video snippet of the work done by Dra Guzman.
I did NOT get lipo to my stomach. Only to my flanks. She will not perform lipo to the stomach when you are getting a TT. Since I've been home, I clean my incisions every other day and change the gauze/tape. I only use tecassol powder. I make sure I keep them extremely dry. I will not shower until I hit 2 months. I have been doing bird baths in the meantime. I still sleep in the recliner chair and I try not to do too much by myself. Because of my skin type/color, I pray that my incisions stay thin and don't widen over time and that I continue to heal with no issues. I'll update my review when I am 3 months post op. I am extremely satisfied so far!

Thank you for your review! Can't wait to see your update! Love your results!
Thank you so much!
You already look amazing on that picture. Thank you so much for posting the reviews, it really helped me look closely to this doctor. I am doing research for revision, I got liposuction on 2017 and my stomach have uneven bumps, I really thought I did my research on that doctor, I saw she had posted pictures from patients and do look very natural. I had all my massages for 3 months, and used my faja for 3 months as well. I went to a doctor that told me that my surgeon was probably to aggressive performing my liposuction or did not get all the fat evenly. I did noticed I had bumps from the beginning, but I thought it would go away with massages, but it didn’t. I would like to know how long did you stay un DR for? , Why did you give a 4 star review to Dr Guzman, if you had amazing experience? Did you stayed in a recovery home, and if you did can you please share it?. So many questions, I apologize, I literally cry every time I have to wear swimsuit, cause now I can’t wear 2 pieces swimsuit, or tight shirts because of my lumpy stomach
I am so sorry you're going through this! I can't imagine how you must feel. If you are open to traveling outside of the country, I would highly suggest Colombia for reconstructive work. The doctors there are very talented with that.
In regards to the rating, that was a mistake. I did mean to select 5 stars however I do wish the follow up was better. I know they are very busy but it would be nice to hear from them from time to time to just check on me. At my last appointment, I was given some post op instructions but I had to reach out when I got back home because I had no clue on other things. I wish they had a post op instruction sheet with common questions to help people like me who never had surgery before. I already knew that if I was going to have surgery in the DR that it was a strong possibility that I would be responsible for finding out the answers on my own. I am not saying it's like this for every doctor there but I had to keep an open mind that could be my experience. My advice is to make sure you have a local doctor who knows and supports that you are traveling and will see you for all of your post op needs when you get back. I set that up months prior to going because I wanted to make sure we were on the same page with any potential complications. I would also suggest creating a long list of post op questions and get them answered before you leave the DR. The language barrier is a real thing and there may be miscommunication.
I stayed at an airbnb with 2 rotating nurses, driver, and chef. I know they just passed a law on 10/1 that you would need to stay at a RH for surgery. I highly recommend booking Oz's RH. I've heard really good things about him.
