3 month update!!

It’s been a little over 3 months since my surgery, and I am already SO HAPPY with my results!! With every passing week, my swelling got better and that’s when my curves really started to show - I noticed a major difference around 6 weeks post-op. Unfortunately, my boobs also got smaller, but that is to be expected with fat grafting instead of implants. Dr. Hsu said about 50% of the fat usually survives in the breasts, but I actually feel like I retained more (so far). My husband loves them, especially knowing that it’s my “natural” breasts/tissue and says I look so sexy, which is the ultimate compliment, especially being together for so long, lol (we are high school sweethearts)!
Since I’m past all the big hurdles in recovery, I’ve been concentrating on being healthier. Dr. Hsu recommended that I lose some weight if I really wanted to get the best results possible, and I have lost close to 20 lbs. since surgery, just by eating healthier!! Less sugar, less carbs, and not over eating. (I am not overly active or a working out/gym person and that will probably never change, lol). Dr. Hsu noticed I lost weight at my last appointment and looked pleasantly surprised!! I plan on slowly losing about 5 more lbs. to be at my ideal weight and this would also help give me some slack since my weight fluctuates easily. Now I just need to be patient about my tummy tuck scars, which will probably be over a year before it starts to really fade with my type of skin. I do hate seeing that small vertical incision, but hands down I would choose to have these scars any day (as long as I was always in the hands of Dr. Hsu), over my previous body and also over a mini-tummy tuck. I honestly never imagined, even in my wildest dreams, that I could look like this. Even as a teenager, I was never the one to have a flat stomach or any curves whatsoever. Dr. Hsu really gave me new found confidence and changed my life. I sometimes feel like I’m living in someone else’s body now, lol. I bought so many new outfits and will for sure post some pics & vids of me in them next time!!

Feeling great - drain finally removed!!

Post-op day 17! Had a quick office visit to get my drain removed - finally drained less than 25cc’s for 2-3 days, so I called the office and Mayra said I could come in to get it removed - yay!! It wasn’t painful at all so I don’t know why I psyched myself out.. lol. Here’s a quick mirror selfie bc I love the mirrors inside their exam rooms!! I’m still so bruised and swollen but I already LOVEEE my new body. I feel so blessed to be able to have Dr. Hsu as my surgeon. He is truly worth the wait and every cent!!

Post-op Day 12!

Took a quick pic before I showered tonight. Breasts have definitely deflated some (as expected), but I’m in love with my new shape and natural looking belly button!! Also loving that it’s getting easier with each passing day. More of discomfort from the swelling than anything, no pain! Looking forward to having this drain taken out soon. I believe Dr. Hsu says it gets taken out if drainage is less than 30cc’s for 2 consecutive days, so hopefully by the end of this week!
