Mommy makeover + lipo of thighs

I had 330 CC saline implants put in about 15 years ago. At 37, 2 kids later, and a 60 lb weight loss, my breasts were saggy and the implant pocket was too big, so they needed to be redone. Given that I was going to be out of commission for breast list and implant replacement (350 silicone) with gala flex, I also opted for a drain less tummy tuck with muscle repair, lipo of the flanks, and lipo of inner/ outer thighs & knees as well. I was referred to Dr. Kenneth Shaheen by a few friends and 2 ob-gyns. This was big surgery (7+ hours), but I work out 5/6 days a week, have kept the weight off for over 2 years, and I’m in great health. Surgery was performed at a hospital and I stayed overnight. The nurses were in awe of how great my incisions looked and one nurse said it was the best breast lift she’s ever seen.
First week of recovery was SO rough and for a moment, I was angry I put myself through all this! Post op, I rank my pain at an 8 out of 10. However, after the first week I’ve noticed significant improvement. For about 5 days, I slept a lot and tried to walk every hour for at least 5 minutes. I experienced no pain with the anchor lift/ implant replacement. I suppose because l already had implants and the muscles were already stretched. The only bothersome part is replacing the tape on the incision areas.
In regards to the drainless tummy tuck, I was prepared for the worst after reading reviews and I feel my recovery is going very well. I would feel a twinge if sharp pain her and there, but the pain was manageable. The first week I wore the compression garment, with foam inserts at the abdomen, flanks, and inner thighs, which was uncomfortable and I needed assistance from my husband to put it on. At 10 days post-op, my tummy still has numbness around the incision area and my flanks remain swollen, but every day gets better.
As I stated earlier, I did vaser lipo of my inner/outer thighs and knees. By far, the lipo was the worst part of recovery, specifically the lipo of the lower inner thighs (right above my knees) and knees area. I suspect it’s because I isn’t have much fat there. Overall, Dr. said he took a little bit of fat from all of areas. It’s too early to see final results, but I’m pretty sure I’ll be happy.
