I’m now seven months post-op, and I couldn’t be more grateful, happy, or relieved with the results of my breast lift/reduction and abdominoplasty with repair. My stomach is flat, tight, and still looks completely natural…something I never imagined after three back-to-back pregnancies.
I was initially very hesitant to move forward because of my concerns about scarring. During my 2+ hour consultation, watching Dr. Sherwyn work so precisely and steadily with his felt pen was the first of many moments that built my confidence in him. He took the time to walk through every detail, down to the importance of the belly button, and shared examples of his previous work. It was clear he genuinely wanted to understand my goals while also educating me on what to expect based on his extensive experience.
Carley was incredibly supportive and available throughout the entire process. I know I wasn’t the easiest patient at times, but she consistently met me with patience and compassion.
From the procedure through recovery, Dr. Sherwyn checked in with me daily, sometimes multiple times a day. He helped ease my nerves and kept me focused on trusting the process. The scars I once worried so much about are now barely visible at seven months. My breasts, which had lost volume, are now lifted and look and feel better than they did when I was younger. My abdomen is long, lean, and natural-looking, honestly better than I ever expected.
Beyond the physical results, there are so many unexpected benefits. Getting dressed is effortless now. Time with my children, especially at the pool or beach, is fully focused on them, not on insecurities or self-conscious thoughts. I can keep up with them physically, and that alone is priceless.
If I had to name a downside, it would be the guilt I feel knowing not everyone has access to the kind of care and results I experienced. I went into this procedure with a lot of anxiety…about recovery time, about being unavailable for my kids, my husband, and my work. Looking back, the temporary downtime was insignificant compared to the lasting benefits for both me and my family.
