WORTH IT
I found Dr. Wegerif on one of the popular Surgeons to Watch in 2026 lists, and I am telling you right now, if you are looking to get first dibs on a GREAT surgeon, GET IN WITH DR. WEGERIF NOW!!!!
I am currently only 5 days post op from an Extended Tummy Tuck, Muscle Repair, Breast Reduction and Lift, and arm lipo with Dr. Wegerif, and I genuinely could not be happier with my results or my experience.
From the day I called Pure Plastic Surgery to inquire about a consultation with Dr. Wegerif, the experience was exceptional. And I do not just mean one or two people. Every single coordinator I interacted with was amazing.
They communicated with me through Klara, phone calls, and texts. Response times were incredibly fast. Even things like paperwork and documentation for my job and PTO were handled with brilliant turnaround times.
They made sure I understood what I needed to do before surgery, what I needed to have ready, and what to expect throughout the process. I never felt like I was chasing anyone down for answers or wondering what was happening next.
And listen, we have ALL heard the horror stories about some Miami plastic surgery centers. That was definitely one of the things that made me nervous going into this.
Pure was the complete opposite of what I feared.
The office was extremely clean, organized, and welcoming, with plenty of delicious snacks and water available while you wait, which in my case was very briefly.
It was also kind of surreal seeing the office where so many of the social media videos are filmed and recognizing the coordinators I had seen online. I can confirm that the team is genuinely just as lovely in person as they appear on social media.
I went into the consultation room and then Zeus, THE GOAT himself, walked in.
Dr. Wegerif is BEAUTIFUL! And I do not just mean physically. He truly has such a charming, humble, and calming personality.
I will be honest, I was pretty embarrassed about having to take my clothes off and stand there discussing everything I wanted changed about my body. But he made me comfortable almost immediately.
He genuinely wanted to understand what I wanted rather than just telling me what he thought I should have. He took his time looking through my inspiration pictures, listening to my goals, examining my body, and explaining what he realistically believed he could achieve.
This is one of the things I appreciated most. He UNDER PROMISED and OVER DELIVERED.
I am more on the petite side, so he was very honest that getting a significant amount of fat from me would be challenging. He did not sell me some unrealistic dream just to get me onto the operating table. Instead, he set realistic expectations and got incredibly creative about how he could work with the body and fat I did have.
We finished the consultation, and the team confirmed my surgery time for the following morning.
The next morning, Dr. Wegerif came in with ENERGY. He was ready to go, and somehow that made me feel ready too.
Even the little details stood out to me. The team asked what music I wanted to listen to before surgery, and when I got back there, THEY ACTUALLY HAD IT PLAYING.
The surgical suite did not feel scary or intimidating at all. I never had that feeling of walking into some chaotic Miami chop shop like the horror stories you hear online.
Quite the opposite.
Everyone engaged with me personally. They called me by my first name. They talked to me. They made me comfortable. Somehow, they made me feel like I was the only patient they were expecting that morning.
I heard that Pure only does around three procedures a day, and honestly, you can FEEL the difference in that energy.
I arrived at 5:22 AM and was in the operating room by 6:36 AM.
There was no sitting around forever, but there was also no feeling rushed. Everything simply progressed smoothly from one step to the next until suddenly I was in the operating room.
Right before the anesthesia took effect, I asked if I could pray. They completely indulged me and gave me that moment.
Before I knew it, I WAS AWAKE.
And I was under a HEATED BLANKET, thank God, because I was SO COLD. They made sure I stayed warm and comfortable while I came around. Once I was fully conscious and ready, it was time to head home.
Day 1 was honestly a breeze.
Days 2 and 3 were probably a solid 7 out of 10 in discomfort. It was more discomfort than actual pain, but those were definitely the hardest days for me.
This is another place where Dr. Wegerif and Pure really stood out.
Dr. Wegerif personally texted AND called me from his own line to make sure I was doing okay.
My initial post op appointment was virtual with one of the nurses, and thankfully I did not have any major concerns. Someone from Pure continued checking on me every single day through my Day 5 in person post op appointment.
I never felt like surgery was over, they had my money, and now I was on my own.
Not once.
Now here I am at Day 5 post op, and I can confidently say THIS WAS SO WORTH IT.
My safety felt paramount throughout this entire process. I truly felt like I was in excellent hands before, during, and after surgery.
And the RESULTS?
YALL.
I understand that I am only five days post op. I know I am swollen. I know my body is going to continue changing and settling for months.
But what I am seeing at DAY FIVE already looks like what I have seen from some people when they are showing off their much further along results.
I am genuinely shocked.
I feel like I accidentally found one of those surgeons before everybody finds out about him.
You know when somebody posts an absolutely BANGING body and everybody starts asking WHO DID YOUR SURGERY? Then two years later that surgeon is impossible to book and quoting 40K?
THAT is how I feel right now.
I am going to be watching everybody discover Dr. Wegerif like, I TRIED TO TELL YALL IN 2026!
From the coordinators, nurses, communication, preparation and surgical experience to Dr. Wegerif himself and the post op care, Pure Plastic Surgery exceeded my expectations.
And Dr. Wegerif?
I came in with realistic expectations because of my body type, and somehow this man still managed to give me results that have me staring at myself at FIVE DAYS POST OP like, SIR, HOW?
Professional. Talented. Humble. Attentive. Realistic. Creative. And most importantly, throughout the entire process, I felt SAFE.
If you are researching surgeons right now and Dr. Wegerif is on your list, all I can say is BOOK THE CONSULTATION.
I genuinely feel like I found a rare gem early.
And when everybody else figures it out and that quote is 40K, DONT SAY I DIDNT WARN YOU.
