So Definitely had ups and downs. I still find I am really swollen above scar, back and hips but know it’s still early days. Usually start off pretty flat but unless I have a rest in the afternoons will be pretty swollen in the evenings. Managing to do lots more. Cooking all meals, washing and loading dishwasher but still find it frustrating not being able to do everything. Scars healing well and not in pain more achy due to the swelling. First time in jeans today, so nice to get out of leggings. Can’t wait to go shopping for some bras in a few weeks. Exciting times.
10 day Post
So feeling so much better, only really taking paracetamol to sleep at night but fine in the day. Moving around well and managing to do some cooking and light housework. No pain just more achy especially in my back. Swelling and bruising is going down and starting to see more of an hourglass shape which is exciting. Hoping on Thursday I can start silicon strips on my scars depending on how they are healing..
7 days update.
So will actually write up my journey another time really exhausted after travelling home yesterday. But so amazing to be home. I am still very swollen more one side than the other at the moment and very bruised. Just trying to get lots of rest to recover. I have to Dr Güray and all of the Vanity team are amazing I felt so well cared for.
