Mommy of two ready for Guadalajara in September
I have my surgery scheduled for September 13th!!! I am getting a mommy makeover and I cannot wait. I am also looking to see if anyone has recommendation of where to stay. I might get a hotel instead of an Airbnb mostly because they come clean the room daily, have room service if you don’t want to go anywhere to eat, or have an emergency there is always people around. Any thoughts on t

I am just one week away from my trip to see Dr. Arenas. They called me to check with me. That’s great and I am now trying to see what to bring with me.

Surgery was done on the 13th. I am here resting at an Air BnB. I ended up hiring a nursing agency ( super cheap) for only $575 for 8 hours of care to help me move around, lay-down, and it is worth the money for sure. The girl just left to get me so supplies.

I am in Dallas also. How are you feeling? How long do you have to stay? What doctor did you use?

So glad to hear that everything went well. How are you feeling? I am getting a BBL with him in February and am a little nervous. Are you happy with your results? And as for the nursing agency is it $575 for a total of hours to distribute as u see fit? I was told to hire Veronica, is she part of that agency? And also i was going to stay at a hotel, wondering why u chose AIR bnb instead. I know i have a lot of questions girl..im just trying to be super prepared.

The night before the surgery

I AM IN MEXICO! Tomorrow I will be doing my mommy makeover. I arrived last night, very late and I am staying at a great AirBnB. This morning I arrived at the clinic for blood work at 8:30am. I confess, I was kinda weirded out initially and trying to remind myself that this is likely the standards everywhere outside the USA. Mind you, I am from Brazil, but the nurse got blood out of me without any gloves! Am I paranoid?
After that, I met Dr. Arenas to go over my body. I came to accept that things are a little different and more crude, but we just go with the flow. Dr. Arenas was nice, but more on that when I see him again before my surgery tomorrow.
I signed some consent form for the registration and paid for some type of anti-flamatory injection which Dr.Arena's nurse gave to me.
Then I went off to the cardiologist. I have been using Uber to go everywhere. It is quire reliable.
The cardiologist exam was an echo and a heart x-ray. I loved the price: US$47.
After that it was time for me to go shopping for last minute things and go to the pharmacy to get my medications ( DO NOT FORGET to do this BEFORE the surgery).
I had a nasty headache after running like a mad woman in Guadalajara, so a Tylenol was in for me when I got back to the apartment.
Tomorrow is the big day and I check in the hotel at 6am.
