Great Experience with Dr Rosenstock

Costa Rica Medical Center Inn 2 weeks, Estella Concierge, Drivers Martin and Eduardo, Housekeeping and nurse Sonya.

At 59, I had a gastric bypass and lost 75 lbs. since I was 10 years post menopause nothing bounced back and 15 months later I had sagging tissue and skin. The Cosmetic Surgeons in my area were way too expensive for me so I started looking at other options.

I did my research and chose Dr Rosenstock and team. They were attentive, asked the right questions and gave me a quote based on my pictures. They recommended a Med Spa hotel since I was traveling on my own. I talked to Estella and felt safe and reassured by my choices. I paid for the upgraded package which included door to door for the plane and all Dr visits. She helped me set up Uber Eats for Lunch and Dinner, told me what to expect and introduced me to my nurse Sonya when I got to the hotel. Estella was excellent and called and checked on me during my stay.

Sonya was awesome, saw me everyday 2-3 times per day, preparing my bed, bringing me breakfast, running to the pharmacy and taking my vitals. She even made me protein smoothies.

Housekeeping was trustworthy (I left money out for 5 days without realizing it), understanding (not running the vacuum if I was resting) and kept my bathroom spotless.

I went to the Surgery Center everyday for a lymphatic massage to promote healing, the amazing nurses did the massage, fed me fluids, helped me shower, changed my bandages, and got me back in my elastic garment. Thank you ladies!

I highly recommend my Dr, staff, Estella, hotel and staff. I felt safe and cared for the whole time I was there.

Yeh results were very good, although I wish my bottom was a little less flat and my thighs with a little less wrinkles. Maybe when I go back in 2 years for some cosmetic dental work I’ll see the Dr if my butt doesn’t plump up and see if there is anything we can do to reduce the wrinkles on my thighs.

Bummers: I got anemic post surgery, had a day with dehydration, and had to go home with my drain. I was given medication for anemia, they pushed fluids and sport drink for dehydration, and they gave me verbal instructions for having the drain removed in 1-2 days once home. I saw my dr, she put me on stronger medication for anemia and got me in to the surgeon who removed the drain per instructions so all was OK, but with the weight loss the anemia and my age it took longer to feel better.

Even with my bummers, it was still overall great, I save about $8,000 and added a neck and face lift for the same price.
