Procedure Specifics
WORTH IT$20,000
I just realized that I didn’t write specifically what I had done.
We did a Mommy Makeover, which included a full Tummy Tuck, Brest Lift, Lower Back Lipo (for fat harvest), and Fat Grafting to fill out my empty breast sacks.
Dr. said by abdominal muscle separation (diastasis recti) was around 6-7cm in places. The price difference wasn’t huge to do fat grafting vs implants. Consulting with my surgeon we decided to go with grafting because I didn’t ever love my breasts when they were naturally big, I wanted the most natural feel, and I was concerned about implants interfering with working out. Now that my breasts are perfectly perky I have to admit I could have gone a little bigger, but there’s always the option to do a second round of harvesting and shape up the thighs if I really wanted to.
Total cost was around $20k. I’m sure if you find a Groupon or a discount Doctor it could have save a few grand, but when someone is literally cutting away at your flesh “just okay is not Okay”. From the beginning we never considered anyone but the best surgeon we could find, and luckily we found Dr. Yates right here in our back yard.

2.5 weeks PO
Hit my two week mark, and reposting pictures because they didn’t post before. Most frustrating thing is not being able to sleep in bed. It is a long process! I never thought I’d make it during the first week of recovery, but now every day gets a little better! I was able to watch my kids(10,8,6,3,1.5 yrs old boys) by myself at day 17, and back to doing most of what I need to do to care for them.

You look great and I'm very happy you've gotten the results you wanted. I would also love to say better than I expected 2 weeks or so after my SX in March. Thanks for sharing and happy healing.
Wow!! You look incredible! I hope I get results like yours!

Didn't Expect It to Look This Good!
I’m a 35yr old mom of 5, and I had my boys all within 9 yrs. My body took a beating. My husband has never made me feel bad about my body after babies. I’m active, run, and did Crossfit 4-5x per week. There was a lot of bagginess that I didn’t even realize until I was taking my before pictures. Wow! Well I had originally looked into something for a diastasis recti repair from Dr Yates because Of the reviews here, from friends, and that he was close to where I live. I was blown out of the water, and I’m only 16 days PO. Dr Yates has been so accessible to answer my questions, his staff is awesome, and my results are amazing. He truly has an artistic eye and a is a gifted surgeon.
