Excited to feel sexy again. (Age 35, 3 c-sections at age 20, 22 and 25)

First off, my kiddos were worth every stretch mark and this apron of skin and over stretched abdominal muscles. I’d do it all over again .....I just would have scheduled my mommy makeover surgery MUCH sooner than 10 years after my last pregnancy.
I waited so long because we were considering MAYBE having a fourth child. However, years rolled by and now our oldest is turning 15. With college 4 years away, we decided no more babies and we’d adopt or wait for grandkids. Now my dilemma is shelling out all this money on myself and feeling selfish. Considering THAT, I really feel like this surgery is going to be worth it.

I lost a piece of myself after pregnancy. I lost my confidence, my sex appeal. Don’t get me wrong - I’ve been married for 15+ years and our sex life is great but it’s so discouraging to have skin and fat resting in your lap whenever oh sit down. I’ve spent many times, crying in the dressing room - unable to button jeans over the skin protruding. I always worry if my shirts are long enough not to expose my hanging, muffin top skin. I can’t wait to feel liberated and FREE. I can’t wait to feel beautiful.

I’m not expecting perfection or to look like a model. I’m just excited to have a waistline again. I’m excited to possibly wear a belt or tuck in my shirt. I’m excited not to have my undies roll down under my flap of skin. I’m excited to not wear another grannie swim dress. I AM JUST EXCITED. No fears, no worries and this point. March 8,2018 surgery day can’t come soon enough!

I’m one week out from surgery. I am anticipating this day just like I did for each of my three c-sections before the arrival of my children. This surgery will be the birth of a new ME. I absolutely can’t wait to shed this belly.

I’ve become addicted to looking at other people’s journeys. Seeking pictures of people with similar body types and getting so psyched about my own transformation.

15 years with my belly sitting in my lap. I won’t miss it at all.
