I have researched RealSelf for over a year for a mommy makeover, tummy tuck w/lipo and a breast lift with implants. I went on several different consultations on my area. I decided to go to Dr. Salama as I liked what I researched, before/after pics and his prices.
Once I submitted a consolation visit through RealSelf his office coordinator at Elite Plastic Surgery in Miami, FL emailed me regarding the procedures and a cost. I sent my pictures for review via virtual consultation as I'm in Ohio and received a quote for my mommy makeover. I was in contact with his coordinator Nancy for several weeks and I put my $1,000 down to schedule my appointment. My first appointment was scheduled for April 13th, but due to the corona virus it was rescheduled to 5/22. There was several communications back and forth during the shut down with his staff regarding any updates. I made my full payment as it is required to pay in full weeks before surgery.
My Pre-op appointment time was scheduled for 5/21 and at my appointment I met with the nurse to go over some pre and post op care. I didn't get o meet with the dr as he was in surgery.
Surgery day, I arrived in the office early and my procedure took about 6 hours. Everything went well and I was released to go home. The next day I went back into the office on Saturday for my post op appointment and felt dizzy and lightheaded. I had to have 2 bags of fluid pushed into me as I was super dehydrated. Ingrid was so nice and helpful through out my appointment.
My next appointment was to get my massages in his office by Waly. She was so helpful with any questions I had and gave me more information on what to do and not do. The office provided me with two massages and all of my garments needed for post op, stage one and two garments, foam pads and a compression bra. I didn't need to buy anything pre op and until my stage 3 garment.
I am now 2 weeks post op and have been communicating with Ingrid about my follow up care. If I have any more plastic surgery procedures, I will definitely be going back to Dr. Salama and Elite Plastic Surgery.

Thank you for sharing your story and sharing your pictures...I'm in the exact same boat..I'm currently looking for a surgeon. I'm in Maryland..but I would like to get everything you had done as well...and your measurements are identical to mines..lol...just wanted to see what your outcome was..My only fear is scaring. But you look awesome...please keep us posted with updates

Hey how long did you stay for recovery? How was your flight home ?

I stayed in Miami for 8 days after my surgery and took an additional week off before returning back to work.
The flight was good, a lot of sitting so tried to get up when I could and also did leg exercises on the plane that the PS gave me to do. The worst was landing, bc there was so much force pushing you forward. If you're flying to get surgery make sure you ask the airline for a wheelchair. It was so helpful.

My breast are still red from the steri-strips as I have very sensitive skin. The micropore tape helps but still makes my skin red too.
