Dr. Rahban is 5/5 Stars

I shopped around for a few months looking for the “perfect” doctor, as I was very nervous about going under the knife (again) due to having unrelated side effects of anesthesia. I was looking for someone who genuinely cared about my outcome and most importantly, as a mother of 3, a SAFE procedure/recovery.

I had very old breast implants that needed to be removed; they were heavy, saggy, and had lost much volume over the years. Additionally, I had diastasis recti, coupled with a c-section scar, which was creating an unflattering fold in my lower abdomen.

I live 2 hours north of the Los Angeles area and I was struggling to find the “right” surgeon locally. We began to look in the Los Angeles area and met with other high-profile surgeons, but the others still did not feel like the right fit - until we found Dr. Rahban!

Here are my initial highlights from scheduling and meeting Dr. Rahban:

· When calling to schedule a consultation, Dr. Rahban’s staff was friendly and informative. I was very pleased that they were willing to provide Dr. Rahban’s general price range for services as I was making a 2-hour drive to his office and it was helpful to know that his services were feasible to my budget.

· My consultation (2020) was during a phase of COVID; Dr. Rahban’s staff sent check-in protocols ahead of time and upon check-in took measures to ensure everyone’s safety.

· The office is lovely and Dr. Rahban’s staff is top notch; they are all friendly and welcoming.

· MEETING DR. RAHBAN: What moved the needle for me to commit to making the 4-hr roundtrip drive (several times over the following months) and to entrust Dr. Rahban for my surgery was HIM – he has a great personality, wealth of knowledge and wonderful bedside manner. He spent a significant amount of time talking me through each procedure, his process, the expected results, the recovery process, and most importantly my medical history/side effects of anesthesia. We talked through a plan to flow information to the anesthesiologist to help mitigate this. I was also very concerned with additional scarring, but based on Dr. Rahban’s experience and my genetic traits he had very little concern.

· At the end of our time with Dr. Rahban we received a quote for services and recommendations for recovery care facilities after the procedure. His staff, again, was very helpful in answering any additional questions, timeline, protocols, etc. I booked with Dr. Rahban a few days later.

My procedures consisted of an implant removal/replacement, lift/reduction with an anchor, areola reduction, tummy tuck, and light liposuction on my hips. My surgery went as smoothly as I could have hoped; the morning of, I met with Dr. Rahban during prep, and then with the anesthesiologist, and everything went according to plan. I also took Dr. Rahban’s recommendation to spend 2 nights at a recovery facility to avoid the 2-hour drive home, and although leaving my kids was tough, that was a wonderful decision and aided in my recovery. Even at home, I did not have excessive discomfort or pain.

The RESULTS: Honestly, I could not be more pleased with my results; my breasts are brand new, visually appealing and are now the right size and position for my body. My stomach has not been this flat in years, and the correction of my diastasis recti has also helped ease lower back pain. Dr. Rahban takes extreme pride and care with each one of his patients – making the best experience/outcome for YOU. I could go on and on, but just know that if you take this journey with Dr. Rahban, you will not be disappointed. He is worth the investment that you are ultimately putting in yourself!
