Dr.Eduardo Ochoa and his staff are so professional and caring. Dr. Eduardo is a miracle worker, I had a mommy makeover +bbl (extended tummy tuck, breast lift with implants +areola reduction, 360 lipo and bbl) and my results are more than I could have ever dreamed of. I have cried happy tears every day since post op when I look at my body, and it’s not even my final result since I’m still swollen/ inflamed. During my consultation he made sure I felt comfortable and safe with the procedure, he reassured me that for the lipo and BBL he is very careful (this procedure was what I was most worried about) he told me he’s only as aggressive as my body allows which I am extremely grateful for, he doesn’t add any unnecessary risk to a procedure that is already risky. He asked me how I wanted my body and made the marks on the area, he is a perfectionist so he made sure everything was symmetrical and to standard and got my post op fajas ready and off I went to rest before my surgery.

Day of surgery: They perform the surgery at blue tower, which is so beautiful, I included a video of my room and bathroom, it was beyond gorgeous. The staff at blue tower were all kind and helpful, and prepped me for surgery, had me sign the paperwork and did my blood work (your blood levels have to be at a safe number or else they won’t perform the surgery). They then took me to my room, I met a lot of the staff in my room including the anesthesiologist, she made sure I was a good and healthy candidate and told me about the procedure and how I would feel post op, she was very informative and knowledgeable. The nurses helped me put on my gown and compression socks and off I went to my surgery, I was put on the table and given oxygen and that’s all I remembered. I woke up back in my room hours later with minimal pain. I slept through out the rest of the night they monitored my pain and gave me adequate pain meds depending on how I rated my pain, and the next morning they gave me breakfast, bathed me and put my faja on. Dr.Eduardo and his staff came by and checked my incisions and made sure I was healing correctly, they taught me how to properly lay and gave me instructions on how take care of myself going forward, they made sure I was healthy enough to be discharged to head over to my recovery house. The surgery was flawless, and the care at blue tower was truly top notch.

Post Op: Dr.Eduardo has different packages, I paid for the one that included the massages, recovery home, and transportation. I didn’t stay at Baja premium which is where they normally put their patients because I got my surgery by luck because of someone else’s cancellation and with only a months in advance notice Baja was booked already so they had to book me in a different one, my experience was great at that home but I won’t mention more about it here because I’m not sure how often they’ll use that home or if they’ll use it again because it’s not their usual recovery home so it might not be relevant to this review. On to the massages, they choose your masseuse and they go directly to you at the recovery house, my masseuse Fabi was incredible, every single time I got my massage I felt better, I heard so many bad things about massages that I was so scared for mine, but they weren’t painful at all, I had 5 (one every day post op) and wish I could’ve stayed longer and gotten more, they truly helped alleviate the tightness and discomfort from my back and with my draining from my lipo. My post op pain wasn’t really pain, i would describe it more as discomfort, I just felt tightness and pressure on my chest from the augmentation, and my back was just super uncomfortable from the lipo and the flexed position you have to walk in which is all normal and expected. The medication Dr.Eduardo prescribed kept any pain at bay and really helped with the discomfort. He saw me 5 days post op and made sure I showed no signs of infection and that my incisions were healing properly, he told me the next steps in my healing process and what to expect. I have never left his office with any questions, he explains everything very thoroughly. I am now 9 days post op and can walk almost perfectly fine (I’d say perfectly but you have to walk flexed for 3 weeks), but I have zero pain and my swelling has immensely gone down. Through all of this Mariana his coordinator has been extremely helpful, she checks on me make sure Im doing okay, makes sure all my questions are answered. She is extremely reliable and the only reason I received my appointment was due to her attentiveness and her seeing a date that matched when I could do it since I have a busy schedule. I truly couldn’t imagine going with a doctor with a different staff. He has the best of the best all around. All his staff is bilingual as well!

I hope this review helps someone, I tried to include a lot of details because these are the details I was looking for when researching for a doctor and the experience of it all, I know how serious this surgery can be and how expensive it is and the research and reviews are so important. I will say this, if this is the surgery you are wanting and you’re interested in this doctor, look no further, book your appointment with Dr. Eduardo Ochoa now so you can get in as soon as possible, he is worth every single penny. The work he does, his knowledge, experience, how meticulous he is, and the care you get through it all is unbelievable. You won’t regret it. He is safe, certified, and has had zero deaths under his knife (I researched and also asked him myself directly). Medical tourism can be risky if you don’t go to the appropriate certified doctor, he is one of the best, you can trust your life in his hands. As of right now I have no more surgeries I want to perform but if I do in the future I’m without a doubt going to him.
