Mommy Makeover with Dr. Kagan at Avana

Not sure if you can see it well but trying to show how my implant is in my armpit. Also you can see along the scar line are spots that are my old areola.

After contacting Avana and submitting photos requesting a revision, not surprising at all, no one followed up with me. I decided to get a second opinion with a local PS because at this point my implants are basically in my armpits and it seems that although my TT incision was extended, the skin was not “pulled” right and so I just have a big scar and saggy hips. I went from trying to improve my body to now absolutely hating it and it will be a long time before I can save up again to have this redone. Moral of the story is that if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is! I was the last surgery of the day and it really shows. Reported by 10:30 and didn’t go in until at least 7pm. Left after 11pm. I terrible and scary experience. Please do not waste your time or money. I almost died and now I’m living with a body that I am so uncomfortable in.

I wish I would have waited before making my “star” update. I am not happy with my results at this point. I ended up with an infection that put me in the hospital at around 44 dpo. Both my breasts opened up on the bottom. I have awful scars and my lift scar doe not rest in the crease of my breast fold like I was told it would. I have dog ears. My belly button healed awful and I have a huge scar “ring” around it. I don’t think I got the lipo they said I would get to the flanks to blend everything because my hips look weird now. I was surprised that after I ended up going into septic shock no one even called to follow up or see if I was ok. I signed a release in the hospital so they could get my records from Avana, and they did provide the records so they knew I was in the hospital. I don’t even see Dr. Kagan on their website anymore but I did contact them regarding revision surgery. Let’s see if they respond. My breasts are what they are at this point but my belly button and hips are what I can’t live with. I am currently looking into scar treatment options but might just end up with tattoos to over the ones on my breasts.
