Phenomenal experience - tummy tuck & muscle repair for diastasis recti

I’m 2 weeks post op and thrilled with results!!! I literally have a new body. Dr. Alexander and Dr. Wang-Ashraf are true artists and set a very high standard for plastic surgery aesthetically and medically.

I started my search for a plastic surgeon 3-4 years ago. I met with 4 surgeons and made my decision to go with Dr. Alexander for a few reasons:

1) her education and qualifications plus board certification
2) her expertise (she’s published research and surgery techniques in her field)
3) quality of her work (I know two people separately who have had surgery with her and they look beautiful and spoke highly of both her and Dr. Wang-Ashraf)
4) her attention to safety and health (this was key!!!)
5) her bedside manner

I had a tummy tuck with muscle repair to repair diastasis recti. I had agonized over my decision for a few years, beating myself up mentally for not being able to work off my belly in the gym after having a child. I was scared of surgery. Scared that I was being selfish and vain and that I should just focus only on my child and not my body. But my back hurt, I couldn’t fit my clothes without looking pregnant and my bladder was giving me issues.

Dr. Alexander and her staff put me at ease and reassured me that everything would be ok. I even decided to get great implants and I love them! So natural looking. Dr. A is the top in Atlanta (and probably at the top in the country). As she told me, she’s done thousands of these. Her office communicated with me. The vitamin regimen and preparation instructions were phenomenal. I actually will continue taking the vitamins because I felt so good leading up to my surgery.

She manages pain very well and 2 weeks later I feel I made an amazing decision going with Artisan.
