I cried when I realized I no longer had my mommy pouch

I’m currently 1 week post op from a mommy makeover with Dr Benjamin Liliav and I’m so happy I made the choice to go with Benjamin. I’ve been researching mommy make overs, doctors, & surgery centers for about 3 years. What attracted me to Liliav was his consistent patient results, specifically breast augmentations & tummy tucks. I loved the fact that he’s been practicing for 20 years, dbl board certified & practices in New York. I decided to go to Miami (I’m from NY) mainly due to price & originally booked with another clinic and changed my mind 6 weeks before my surgery with Liliav happened. Best choice ever. I booked my appointment at Xiluet surgery in Miami.. The girls are a little flustered due to it being so busy but my experience at pre-op and getting all my stuff (labs, etc) over was very easy. I didn’t see Dr Benjamin Liliav until the day of surgery!! But that’s because I didn’t want to wait hours for him to get out of surgery at pre-op. 

First of all I loved his personality, I’m from NY and we like people to be straight up & honest. No bs. He was straight forward, he took his time marking my body up & we discussed implant sizes. I wanted mine pretty big & he explained that I’d need a lift in the future. He agreed I could use more lipo, but I planned on working my butt off after I’m cleared to work out so I wasn’t worried about that. I lost 23 lbs in order to get surgery & planned on continuing to eat healthy and work out post surgery. Dr Liliav also told me that too much lipo could result in sagging skin in some areas but that I should be very happy with my results. 

Fast forward to today, 7 days post op from extended tummy tuck, lipo in 4 areas, breast lift with breast augmentation & I feel great. I’m walking straight up, I’m finally sleeping through the night, I stopped taking the pain meds a day or so ago and I just do Tylenol now. I still have drains in but I plan on hopefully having them removed in a few days or so. My results are freaking amazing. Better than I hoped & I cannot believe how snatched I am. I cried when I realized I no longer had my mommy pouch / flap. I wanted to hug that man lol. The only negative thing I have to say about the entire experience is the wait time.. I waited 4 hours day of surgery & waited 3 hours post op. It was insane, they over book & you can only see the surgeons inbetween surgery for post op. Other than that my experience was great & I highly recommend Dr Liliav, he is a hidden gem there. He’s new to Xiluet but I have a feeling he’ll be insanely busy there soon.
