WORTH IT
I am enjoying my results. Still slightly numb in lower abdomen and left areola. Doctor says it should return with time. I am using a hydrating serum and also palmers skin therapy oil and butter separately on my scars. I still swell so I wear a waist trainer most of the time to help with swelling and to also waist train. I still sleep in my marena recovery garment and my waist trainer. For me it is comfortable. I am going to purchase the marena garment in a small or xs size for everyday wear. It is very comfortable and smooths you out. I also bought a 3 in 1 slimming machine from amazon that I just started using to help further tighten and tone. Will see if this machine works. I might be going back after a year to lipo an area to the right of my TT scar. Looks like a fat pocket but until then I will use my little 3 in 1 gadget.

My breast incisions by the areola have closed up. I was really worried about the wound developing into a serious infection but thank goodness this was not the case. Bacitracin and letting it get a lot of air to dry them out helped tremendously. I was afraid to wear my bra so I was braless for at least 4 weeks only wearing one to go out if on a quick grocery trip. I am working on my tummy tuck scars by using silicone strips and also a silicone gel. I use both but you do not have to. Eventually I will start using a fade cream for the scars. Overall I am very pleased with my results especially my breast as they are perky. Glad i did not have to get implants. I did not need the upper pole fullness that implants give but this is just enough fullness. From where they were before I am extremely satisfied.

I got more massages today. Massages are really helpful to reduce swelling and for lymphatic drainage. It is extremely important to get these after surgery. I'm on my 8th massage and intend to get a few more in the weeks ahead. Also got ultrasonic cavitation. My breast incisions appeared to slightly open last week and looked crazy I did not get an infection which was good. I reached out to my doctors office and sent photos immediately. I got a response from the nurse the second day after I contacted them. So the issue apparently wasnt serious because as the nurse put it this is normal in most breast reductions especially at the T of the incision. Well I panicked because I certainly did not know what was happening and certainly not normal to me. Anyway was instructed to put bacitracin on incisions and give it air to help dry it out. I also put silver gel on it too as I did this with a small lipo burn 2 years ago. The incision has scabbed over and is looking better 4 days later. See photos. My breast shape will change slightly as they settle and the swelling goes down.
