Colombia Plastic Surgery

My surgery was July 8th 2019.

I chose Dr. Campbell and Dr. Restrepo for the sole fact that they are a team! After speaking to Dr. Campbell and the staff it was more apparent that English was well versed and communication was going to be easy and effective! And what a divine pair Dr. Campbell and Dr. Restrepo are! A husband and wife team who exude passion and love for what they do and for each other! The level of respect Dr. Campbell has for his wife I have experienced the same respect from him when working on me and his interactions with his patients! Extremely professional with an easy going open attitude which made it super comfortable to work together!  

I had an extended tummy tuck, 360 lipo, breast augmentation, a rhinoplasty, under-eye fat removal, buccal fat removal, double chin lipo, fat transfer to lips, laugh lines and chin. These procedures were all recommended by Dr. Campbell according to the desired results I was aiming for. Surgery went fine and recovery has been excellent and taking it’s due course. Now: I had a lot of surgery...like a lot! Most individuals come for a total of 2 weeks to recover then fly back home. I chose to, post-op, recover for 3 weeks. I knew I would need the extra massages I paid for after the initial 10 that is covered. I knew I needed to be more mobile and flexible before I flew home, and in general wanted to be sound and clear headed before I had to do post care on my own.  

Best decision I could have have ever prepared for!! Although it is a long long time away from home I couldn’t get the amount of care provided by this amazing staff in any other part of the world! Firstly the nurses. They work so hard for you and promote your healing as if it was them lying on the bed! Their dedication and persistence assures you are getting such detailed care. They struggle for you to get your undergarments on, and believe me even if I had not have had surgery, I couldn’t get that thing on! My massage therapist was out of this world! She worked and worked and worked on my body to relieve the fluid retention and helped to ease my bruising. Truth be told...it hurt! A lot! But extremely necessary!  

These procedures are seriously NOT for the faint of heart! You really must go in with a thick skin. You cannot over analyze your medical situation and truly need to let the experts treat you! If you have concerns, you voice them but don’t try and self diagnose your issues. And TRUST your caregivers! My life was literally put into the hands of the doctors and nurses and the outcome could not have been better. Everyday I have been in discomfort and everyday I reminded myself of what an amazing job everyone was doing and that I was healing day by day.  

YOU ARE SWOLLEN! The whole time you will be here you will be swollen. If you think you don’t like your results it’s because you don’t have them yet! It takes a long while for the swelling to go down! When you look in the mirror you may definitely see changes but they are not your end results...tons of healing still to come after you leave paradise. And yes this is paradise! Cartagena, these Recovery Suites are everything! I feel like I am truly in the lap of luxury! The staff that is presented to you for your cleaning and meals are beyond accommodating! They are so gentle and warm and kind and are there solely to make sure you are eating right and that you are assisted should you need anything! I speak very limited Spanish and can get by but relied on my google translator from time to time. Very helpful! These ladies along with the nurses are angels and I owe them a great debt of gratitude!  

I have come to Cartagena by myself and have never felt alone! From airport pick up to everything in between I have had the good fortune to rely on someone for help! I will always and only recommend Premium Care and already have a list of family and friends who want to come and be taken care of!  Amen for Premium Care Plastic Surgery!
