Breast update
The wound vac really helped the wound heal , we stitched it shut today and placed a drain in the breast to drain breast milk if I’m still lactating. Currently on my third round of bromocriptine to stop milk production. Hopefully this is the beginning to the official end of recovery.
Breast Milk Leaking out BOTTOM of Boob/ Open Wound from Breast Aug
I received 455 cc under the muscle silicone implants 6 weeks ago. The T incision split open (which I understand is common) but it exposed a milk duct and now breast milk pours/ leaks out the bottom of my breast. I’m in constant contact with my PS, they’ve seen me multiple times. (I currently have a wound vac on my tummy tuck incision… healing has been brutal) They’re closing the wounds this week (including under my breast) but I can’t find anything on the internet remotely close to this issue and it’s scaring me. How is my wound going to stay shut when breast milk is flooding the area at the bottom? He doesn’t seem concerned but I just wanted more input. This has been a brutal 6 weeks.
