Botched by Dr Louis R Mandris

I was referred by a friend who seemingly looked amazing. I checked the Medical Board of California and found nothing. However finding nothing on there is definitely a false sense of security, as he is involved in a pretty devastating lawsuit. Brain damage is involved and loss of eyesight and speaking.
I signed up for tummy tuck and breast augmentation thru the armpit. I told him I was pretty sure I needed a lift and wanted 400cc’s. Louis R Mandris told me I didn’t need a lift, he could achieve the exact same results without the scars on the breast by going a bit larger than 400. 40 years ‘experience’, his staff raving, one even telling me he did her breasts, I was convinced Louis R Mandris knew what he was doing and was being honest by not ‘sugar coating’ things. Him not sugar coating things was actually just him bad mouthing previous potential patients and previous patients he botched that spoke up against his poor work, it was a foreshadowing of how he was going to treat me when he did the same to me.
At my March 2020 consultation we settled on filling up my breasts to no more than 550ccs. Which gives you an idea of how ignorant Louis R Mandris is, I said 400, 150ccs more is not ‘just a bit bigger’, it’s a HUGE difference.
Louis R Mandris raved about how he was known for lowering the breast fold when there isn’t enough skin, after seeing my breasts he said that wouldn’t be necessary I had plenty of skin and although I told him I had breastfed for a total of 6 years, Louis R Mandris told me my stretching and sagging of my skin wasn’t very bad.
On the day of operation, he got upset there wasn’t a picture with my file. I said we settled on up to 550, he said no I need a picture, promptly left the room and returned with a photo asked if the ultra high profile was what we decided. I said yes.
Post op appt was the next day. He brought in 2 nurses, which seemed odd. The first words out of Louis R Mandris’s mouth…Well, I saw this perfect little body and it just needed the boobies to match, so we threw in 650’s. One nurse exclaimed Dr! I said, what?? He quickly chimed, anything less would have been a terrible result. There was nothing I could do, but trust that he was being honest, although every fiber of my being told me everything was wrong.
My next appt he came into the room asking to see my frankenboobs.
The next appt, after he ripped out my drains, he told me I needed to get some Botox in my forehead. That same appt is when he gave me the shoestrings, which were to help form the new breast fold, because even though he told me I had so much skin he had to fill them so large, he still released my breast fold. The shoestrings I obliged to wearing because I was already so depressed and it was made clear to me by Louis R Mandris that it would be my fault for a poor result if I did not. After he tied the noose around my breasts, So tightly that scars eventually formed, while I walked out to the waiting room a nurse asked me how I was doing, Louis R Mandris grabbed and massaged my shoulders and exclaimed,”Ladies, she’s a walking, talking science experiment.”
When I consistently asked Louis R Mandris about my stomach and why it was bulging above my newly crooked/off-center belly button, Louis R Mandris would simply say it was still swollen and would likely be better after 6 months to a year. Which turned out to be another lie Louis R Mandris told, as he states in the surgeons report he just didn’t complete the muscle repair.
At 4 months I had had enough. A friend told me, there are plenty of other drs that can still take care of you and will take care of you. My last appt, Louis R Mandris came In and muttered,”Report.” I said,”Excuse me?” Again he muttered, more irritated,”Report!”
I was done, I was done being made to feel like this was all my fault. He had done a horrible job and he knew it. Louis R Mandris treated me poorly, made fun of me, called me an experiment, violated my rights, mutilated my body and still had the audacity to say, “Sure the results aren’t great, but you’re still getting a good result, you had nothing before. You could’ve gone to any dr, it’s not my fault you chose to go with me and didn’t understand the way I do things. We can still do the lift if you want but I think you’re getting a good result.” There was no way that man was going to touch my body again.
I went to 2 drs after that last appt, one actually said,”What the [RS bleep]?! What dr left you like this?!”
Getting implants or plastic surgery of any kind is not a mistake, but I, as well as several other women I have spoken with on Yelp, I can assure you choosing Louis R Mandris as your surgeon or dr for any type of service is and will be a mistake.

I realized I missed an important aspect of my story. My friend that referred me who seemingly looked amazing, after 6 months I went to her and shared my experience with her and she told me she has a slight double bubble but assumed it was her fault for telling him she wasn’t wearing the shoelaces and never went back. A double bubble is a normal result and you should never recommend a dr that leaves you with one. When I look at some of her pictures, I notice it, maybe because I’ve been through what I have and had to work so much to hide mine because it was so noticeable, but I notice.

So here are my before and after photos. I didn’t have a lot but wanted the muscle repair because no matter how much I worked out you can see where my abs would not come together. Muscle repair was part of the plan, Louis R Mandris of Beverly Hills Physicians Rancho claims in his surgeons report it was not but that’s just another lie from this lazy ‘experienced’ surgeon. I asked at most appt’s why my stomach was bulging above my belly button and why my belly button looked off center still, Louis R Mandris of Beverly Hills Physicians Rancho Cucamonga said I need 6-12 months for swelling to completely subside. One time he actually ignored me and went and grabbed a nurse(Nikki, I believe) and showed her how great one side of my tummy tuck scar was healing. Smoke and mirrors, oh what did you say..look over here!! I am Sitting here at 14 months post op still looking like the 11 month picture.
But at least I’ve been able to have the terrible mess Louis R Mandris, of Beverly Hills Physicians Rancho Cucamonga, left my breasts in reconstructed. One day I may choose to have this revised as well, but for now I am working on warning as many women out there as possible about Louis R Mandris and Beverly Hills Physicians Rancho Cucamonga location. Louis R Mandris is a dishonest, unethical, negligent surgeon. Louis R Mandris doesn’t care about his patients, Louis R Mandris doesn’t take consideration for the physical body standing in front of him. Louis R Mandris’ nurses follow his lead and lie straight through their teeth, straight to your face, as well. This Beverly Hills Physicians Rancho office does what they can to appear up and up but please be forewarned it is all a facade.
If you have been a victim of Louis R Mandris, and feel you cannot proceed with legalities for whatever reason, your next step in fighting back is filing a complaint to the Medical Board of California and reviewing him EVERYWHERE. Open google search Louis R Mandris Reviews, one by one open each link in another page and share your story. It’s worth it, for your own sake.
Might I also add again, Louis R Mandris and the anesthesiologist Nancy Mink, are involved in an ongoing lawsuit since 2018, which includes severe brain damage, lost of vision and ability to speak.
