Amazing Surgeon | Incredible Results | Fantastic Team

I can say, without hesitation, that Dr. Thayer and his entire team at Quintessa are so, so incredible. I have had the best experience with him since my initial consult back in July 2024, and I am now four months post-surgery from my tummy tuck (with muscle repair), breast lift, and lipo to my axillary breast tissue and flanks after losing 100 pounds over the last few years.
CONSULT: I have never undergone any type of surgery prior to this, and to say I was nervous is an understatement. Having someone look at your body with all your insecurities out in the open can be intimidating, but Maggie and Dr. Thayer were both so professional and kind that that feeling quickly disappeared. Dr. Thayer listened to my concerns and was very confident in his ability to explain what could be done and how he would go about it. From there, Maggie and I discussed finances and without hesitation I chose to schedule my surgery the same day.
PRE-SURGERY: My surgery was scheduled 2.5 months after my consult, and in that time I was in contact with both Maggie and Mandy for various things. As my surgery date approached, I had a final consult with Dr. Thayer where he went over any last minute questions or concerns, as well as discussing post-op instructions.
SURGERY: A scary but exciting morning! After arriving to the surgery center with my brother, I was greeted by the surgery team and shown to my room. Olivia walked me through what to expect, took vitals and made sure any questions I had were answered. I then met with Dr. Thayer briefly, and finally the anesthesiologist, Kaitlin, who was amazing! I cannot express how comfortable and confident I felt with everyone from the time I walked into the surgery center to when I left. My brother was also impressed with the facility and had nothing but great things to say about the team as he waited for my surgery to finish.
POST-SURGERY: The communication from Dr. Thayer and Mandy were incredible throughout my first week post-surgery. Fortunately, my recovery was straight forward and I had no issues or complications, but I also knew that if anything did happen, I would be able to get in touch with either Dr. Thayer or Mandy without issue and a prompt response.
I am now four months post-op, and I cannot express how happy I am with not just my results from surgery, but with Dr. Thayer and his team. I have had multiple appointments at Quintessa since (3 month post op check, botox and vitamin shots) and I am always greeted by Jaimie, who is so welcoming and I enjoy catching up with her whenever I’m back! As for my results - MY GOD I LOOK GREAT! I have never in my life felt so comfortable in my own body and I cannot thank Dr. Thayer enough for the incredible work he did. He has seriously changed my life for the better and for the first time in my 35 years, I’m actually looking forward to summer and being able to wear dresses, bikinis and whatever else my heart desires, as I’ve always been so self-conscious and uncomfortable with how I looked.
I have had a number of negative experiences with doctors/clinicians in the past, which is why I wanted to leave such a thorough review on my entire experience at Quintessa. Sure, you can find a competent and skilled surgeon anywhere and likely see the same results, but not every surgeon will make you feel as welcome and comfortable as Dr. Thayer, Maggie, Mandy, Olivia, Kaitlin and Jaimie. This team is genuinely invested in their patients, and I would highly recommend Dr. Thayer to anyone who is looking for an incredibly skilled and personable surgeon.
