12 weeks po MMO

What a journey this has been and I’m still on! If you are considering this surgery please don’t make the mistake of thinking it’s a short process. I’ve seen very few people bounce back in a couple of weeks. I still battle swelling. I still were my faja and compression. But what a huge difference it is to not have hanging skin on your belly. Pre surgery I was a tight size 14. I’m about a size 9/10 now. And they are a bit loose. I may need some revision to my scar where I had a wound but Dr Earle said we can cross that bridge when I’m about 6 months post op. I will update again then.

MMO UPDATE

8.5 weeks post op. I’m about 10 pounds lighter than pre surgery. I have all my energy back. I just went back to work this week. I am still swelling a lot but not as much as I used to. I’m just going to be patient about that part. I have a feeling I will need some additional lipo but won’t know until I am 6 months po and have a better idea about results. I’m still wearing compression 12 hours per day and it does make a big difference. I’ve been working out on my elliptical and lifting light weights, staying away from sodium, and alcohol. They make me swell more. I usually start out n the morning flat and slowly swell up by the end of day. Dr says it’s to be expected even up to a year. Will update at 3 months again!

You look great I'm considering Miami I'm scarf but your testimony is positive
* I'm considering
Dr Earle and his staff are amazing! He is incredibly safe with all his procedures and very accessible. He's got great credentials and so does his facility. You should definitely consult with him. There are a lot of negatives about Miami doctors and he is not one of them. Good luck in your journey :)

Post Op Day One

I made it through surgery! I’m sure we all have the same fears of not waking up but I did and I was convulsing terribly from the anesthesia. They had me wrapped in blankets a large tube blowing hot air under them. It was a pretty rough start. I’m extremely happy I got the exparel shot! I can’t imagine the pain without it! I was still in terrible pain and stiff from my neck to my toes. And definitely questioning my sanity in all this. But I just keep telling myself how amazingly worth it this going to be! I can’t believe my overhanging belly skin is all gone! I am staying at Body Vice recovery house and they have been absolutely amazing! They had a walker here that has been a godsend! I went to my post op appointment and got to see my results so far. I have a lot of swelling at the top of my abdomen and I think it was because the binder was on too tight. The staff at Dr Earles are absolutely the best! I am incredibly happy with the choice I made for surgeon and recovery house! Do your research ladies! I’m including pre op photos and my post op visit photo. I’ll update again soon!
