Day 32 Post Op - First Sign of Settling
WORTH IT
Some people call it the Brest implants “settling” and some call it the “drop and fluff” (it can be googled by that name too). Day 32 was the first I noticed it so I thought I would share pictures. You can see it more in the breast on the left side of the picture.
Also all the markings on my stomach in the picture are from the binder or pre-existing stretch marks, except for the scar :-)
Also at the month mark my belly button began with the smaller amount of yellow discharge. I washed with antibacterial soap and put Polysporin on it with gauge pads and tape. Cleared up in two days and now I just use Polysporin at night as preventative.

3 Week Post-Op Scar Updates
It's been 3 weeks today. Today was the day I was to take off the tape over the scars and start using silicon strips for 12 hours then alternating to no strips with bio oil for the other 12 hours each day until the 6 weeks mark.

Women have died from having mommy makeovers. Doing two surgeries at once leaves you unable to move which can cause blood clots. One major surgery at a time for me. Very dangerous.
Good for you taking a lesser risk one surgery at a time.

I am day 7 post op. Had a rough go of severe nausea and vomiting ( likely caused by the tramadol in hindsight). Pain is definitely getting exponentially better every day. Wednesday is my first post op appointment. I’m still in a binder and can’t see any results yet. How yours your continued recovery. Thank you again for your kind words pre-op. They really helped me out.

2 Week Post Op Progress Picture
Still feeling great, still extremely happy with my decision to do this. So far to date no infections.
I recommend Dr. Shortt to anyone, you will happy with the entire process from consultation, to surgery and every step throughout recovery and follow up.

You look amazing, congrats! Did you do a lift as well as implants? Your before breasts look a lot like mine now and curious ...
No lift, at another consult (not Dr Shortt) I was told I would need a lift on the lower side breast .
When I had a consult with Dr Shortt he said he could achieve my desired results without a lift. I was so happy to hear that because I didn't want the anchor scar from a lift on only one breast.

Yes, 17 days today and the entire journey with Dr Shortt was perfect: no pain (just sore), no issues, no infections, minimal scarring I could of hoped for and realistic sizing for my body
