Two months post op

I feel terrific. I often times forget that I had surgery (well, until I walk past a mirror, or get undressed, lol). I mean, feeling wise, I forget that I had surgery 2 months ago. Until, I workout. Ugh! I want the endurance and strength back. I STILL can't lift like I want and I can't do any crunches. Lifting my arms overhead can be uncomfortable also. It feels like there's a pulling and stretching high in my abdomen. So, I of course don't do it. I my right breast, very near my incision there are some pokey bumps that I will ask my surgeon about at my next appointment. They tend to be uncomfortable and a bit painful. Perhaps internal stitches that haven't dissolved?

4 weeks post op

Hard to believe it's been 4 weeks today. Things that are going well: sleep (on my back or on my side); no longer winded walking up stairs or after cleaning; TT and BA scars healing nicely; starting to see settling in the implants and LOVE them. Things that are still a bit slow: still can't stand FULLY upright (it improves daily, but still not upright); still tightness and numbing where lipo was done (massage helps); belly button is SLOW to heal (has shown improvements the last couple of days). I miss working out. I am watching everything I put in my mouth because when you're sedentary, you're not burning it off. I hate the evening swelling. It's getting better, but is not comfortable. It's worse if you've done a lot during the day. I go in for my 1 month post op on Monday and see what my surgeon has to say about everything.

Two weeks post op

I got drains out on Monday (10 days, post op). It didn't hurt at all. The first one I didn't feel at all; the other was a little stuck and he had to tug a little. I felt that sucker worm all the way out. It felt so funny. I no longer have to wear the three panel compression garment. I'm good with spanx. I do like the pair that the surgeon gave me, so I rotate them with a pair of Spanx I have. My belly button has me worried, as it seems the slowest to heal. I clean it with hydrogen peroxide, then put bacitracin on a small piece of gauze that I put inside the belly button. The spanx holds it in place. Sleeping is interesting as pre-surgery I was a slight belly sleeper and I'm now trying to train myself to sleep on my back or side only. Hey, better for wrinkles, right? Lol. I've also gotten the okay to massage. So, three times a day for three minutes, I'm strategically feeling myself up ;). I haven't needed anything for pain (Tylenol, as I've been off narcotics since 3 days, post op) in 4 days. I've included pics to show progress.
