Hi ladies, this site has been super helpful so I thought I would add my own story. I’m less than two weeks out from having a tummy tuck with Lipo, a breast lift and small implants. I am most excited about the muscle repair I’ll have as well. I’m nervous but I’m also excited for what is to come. Any advice would be great!

Getting excited!

tintinm
Only three more days until surgery and I am making sure I have everything together. I had a question for you ladies who have been through this. I will get my period the day of surgery. I’m staying the night the first night but after I’ll be home. What’s the best strategy to manage? My husband will do a lot for me but changing pads?!?!?! Ugh. Will I be able to do it myself?

Omg it's almost time!!! I'm excited for you!! The best thing to do for The first several days is set an alarm and ask for you pills. If you doing Lipo don't have carbonation. Stay positive and just know you forget the pain. I was doing my pills about ever 3 hours and never allowed the pain to fully kick in. I went to ibuprofen very soon after surgery.

Thanks! Good advice. I want to switch to ibuprofen soon too but I’m just not ready yet. Hoping for an easy day.

Made it to the flat side

Made it to the flat side. Day one wasn’t so bad at all. I was coherent and happy and pain free. It didn’t last and now I’m trying to fight back the pain at the hospital. It’s everywhere and making it hard to breathe right. This too shall pass!

My boobs look high and tight! Hard to tell on my belly yet but nurses say it looks good.

I go home from hospital tomorrow. Kind of looking forward to being at home.
