WORTH IT
After having 3 big babies (10lbs and 14lbs)which included my twins and losing over 60lbs I decided I wanted to do a mommy makeover. My stomach muscles were detached with my first pregnancy. I lost weight through weight training and cardio 5 times a week and used MyFitnessPal. My motivation was my family history of health issues. I want to be around to my kids and life a enjoyable healthy life.
I was scheduled for surgery with another surgeon and at the pre-op he was very mean and just didn't feel he was the right surgeon. I called Dr. Oppenheimer office and explained my situation. From the very start Erika the patient coordinator was amazing! She understood and said this is very common and they would gladly see me and see what they could do. I asked if there was a opening for surgery on 3/11 because my original take for surgery was 3/12 with the previous surgeon. She assured me yes there was. I was called back right away and the process was simple and just smooth as butter. I went in for a consultation with my hubby and we both really liked Dr. Oppenheimer. Very honest, upfront and no b.s. He was very professional and his knowledge on my procedure was impressive. He's a genuine guy and really wants his patients to get the absolute best results. His whole staff is simply amazing. These ladies are such a delight and just wonderful. From the minute you call to obtain information to days after surgery they are just sweet and professional. I am still recovering and will post more pictures when I'm done. But this doctor & his staff are truly amazing.

It’s been almost a month and I feel amazing! Still have some bruising from lipo. Also started using silicone scar sheets since in the past it’s worked so well.

Yes you do look great. I love your new boobs too...did you get implants or just breast lift? My TT surgery was 5 days after yours. Compared to you I think I have more swelling. Seeing you now, I do wish I had done a BA too. Thanks for sharing.
April 13, 2020
Aww, thank you. I only did implants no breast lift. Dr. Opp stayed I didn't need it. I recommend walking its helped my swelling go down. I try to walk twice a day but definitely at least once a day around the block. Did you do it with Dr. Oppenheimer?
April 13, 2020
Wow, they look that good and you didn't even need a lift. He did a great job..on your TT too. No I went with a Dr Rodriguez in Maryland. His work his excellent too, but he discouraged me from doing the BA at the same time.
I agree I do need to do more walking. I've only been doing laps in the house getting less than 6,000 steps a day, which is half of what I was doing pre surgery. A bit paranoid about going out due to Corona Virus. Still not able to walk my dog because he's a puller and at 55lbs I don't want to risk him doing any damage. If it's not raining tomorrow I think I may head on outdoors again.
April 14, 2020
That's awesome! Yes I agree the dog might be a bad idea to walk. Don't over do it but definitely will help. Did he tell you when oh can do the BA?

Outcome is amazing. I have same body type structure and looks. I wish I could do this and have same outcome
May 10, 2020
Thank you. You could have the same if not better. The results were based on hard work as well. The surgery just enhanced my hard work.
May 10, 2020
You look fantastic well done on your hard work and for having the courage to have surgery. How was your recovery?
May 10, 2020
Recovery is great. I'm blessed to have an incredible husband that has helped me. The first few weeks are the toughest but I used a walker and chair to shower which helped soo much. I highly recommend it anyone going through this surgery. I also recommend a waist trimmer that's not full body. I feel great and just recovering amazingly.

Thank you for sharing your pictures. You look great, love your breast size! I am scheduled with for my mommy makeover with Dr. Opp now in June and am so anxious! Hope you can update more as you continue your recovery : ) And any other tips and recommendations are so appreciated!

Aww, thank you darling. How exciting! Congratulations! He's really fantastic & just amazing. Tips: -I suggest button down nightgown's get a few. -When you go for your post-op to remove your drains and they fit you for a faja buy another one from them the next size down. It will help you shrink more. Besides you'll want two because your wearing them everyday for 23 hrs. -Buy some extra strength itch cream. -Baby powder and witch hazel as well they help create a barrier when the itch gets bad. -Drink milk magnesium a few days before it helps a lot so your not constipated after surgery from the pills. -Have lots of pillows because you won't be able to lay flat for a few weeks & after that you'll need it to sleep on our side. -After the first month buy a handheld massager if your doing liposuction. It helps loosen the fat deposits they get kinda hard. I had hubby massage nightly. -Buy a walker or your back will regret it. Best thing I did. Amazon has them inexpensive. -Definitely buy a shower chair! Amazon has them very inexpensive. -Be patient with yourself! No two ppl recover the same. Love to see your pictures!

Amazing results! you look great. I hope for the same. I have my extended TT and muscle repair/lipo on 6 July, and then BL and implants by the end of the year. My doctors also didn't want to combine the surgeries, which is a shame....But I need a lift too. Can you post more pics! Really exciting. You look like you will have gone down at least 2-3 sizes in clothing.
May 11, 2020
Thank you! I did everything in one surgery. Lipo, breast augmentation and extended tt. I can definitely post more pictures. I'm now a size 6. Since my surgery I lost 12lbs. I dropped my calorie deficit since I'm not working out which also helped.
May 11, 2020
Amazing! What was your clothing size before surgery if I can ask? I talked to 3 docs here in Europe where I live and they wouldn't combine all my surgeries - it seems that the MMO is not so common here, they're nervous about it.
May 13, 2020
My size before surgery was a 10. There are a lot of doctors who won't combine them which is unfortunate. I heard they offer to some and others no because of health issues. Whichever doctor you pick make sure you feel comfortable and confident. I didn't my first time when I picked my original and so happy I switched to Oppenheimer.
May 13, 2020
Thank you for your reply! So you were already pretty tiny. I'm a 12 I think but also nearly 5'9. Your pre-op tummy looks like mine, I think, so that's why it's so encouraging to see your great results. I saw quite a few surgeons here and none would combine - I debated about going back to North America but I prefer to recover with my support network and friends around....so I'll do two surgeries, first with the tummy as it's the most pressing and maybe BL by end of the year. i'm trying to go strict on diet after weeks of quarantine wrecked some havoc on my low carb high exercise routine....trying to get back on track - have about 7 weeks to go!
May 13, 2020
Yes I agree with you 100%! Nothing helps recovery more than being with family and friends. Definitely do what works best for you. Yes this quarantine has caused weight gain for a lot. Stay consistent and the results will come. Can't wait to see the results.
