Started work today. I used spanx under my clothes since I felt like the compression garment is too noticeable. I only wear leggings because I don’t want any buttons or zippers around my waist right now. I tried wearing jeans but it was so uncomfortable. ????
There was a lot of walking so by the time I got home I was super swollen. I took off my clothes and put back on my garment with the foam to help my swelling and I felt so much better.
FYI.... I don’t know why but I feel so much better with garments that are tight around my tummy. It makes me feel so safe, it’s really strange. My breasts have continued to drop, and I am trying to stop all the pain meds but I still take them in the morning and night. Plus muscle relaxers is a MUST!!!

You look amazing. Are you happy with the outcome so far? How was the return to work?
thanks!! I am very happy with the outcome and it is getting better every day. I will say the pain was completely overwhelming and on many occasions I had to remind myself that I paid for this and it’s going to be worth it in the end, but let me tell you I would do anything to push a fast forward button to move through the swelling and pain. Back to work has been ok. I sit at a computer so I just give myself more time in the morning to get ready and change my tape and massage my belly and breasts and I also walk slower haha
I'm booked for 18th July. I can't wait to get rid of my pouch and saggy boobs. It's the aftermath that is the most daunting. I'm hoping to have 5 weeks off work. I'm a teacher, so I need to be able to stand at the front of the class! Thank you so much for posting your experiences. It helps so much to read about the journey and how you manage. Do the compression garments help that much?
You look so well already! What would you say is the most uncomfortable though, the boob recovery or the TT recovery?
oh 5 weeks off is nice!!! you will be just fine
definitely the lipo on my flanks and the tummy tuck. The boobs really have been super easy with little pain, haha maybe this is because the rest of my body hurt so much that i overlooked the breast. my sides are still sooo sore from the lipo. Dr. Salama said he would aggressively attack my flanks and he wasn’t lying
When did he have you wearing your faja ?

Before and after 2 week post op

As I mentioned in the prior review I am super swollen for some reason tonight. I did a side by side of my week 1 post op to my week 2 post op and I look bigger tonight than i did that day. I also should mention that I took that photo earlier in the day at the recovery house and I had my hubby take this photo at 10:30 at night. I heard you get more swollen at night so I am going to try to retake this photo in the am to test this theory.

2 weeks post op

Hello all. It’s been 2 weeks since my initial surgery. I had a tummy tuck with lipo to my flanks, and a breast lift with silicone implants. Things get easier every day. Some days are better then others. I still get tired easier than before. I am still on my pain medicine, but trying to take less and less every day. Sometimes that works and sometimes that doesn’t ????. Tonight I feel super bloated and tired. I was able to take the white bandages off of my incisions. My instructions were to take them off and email the photos to Dr Salama so he can review before giving me the thumbs up ???????? to begin with the special scar reducing tape. I have a big pudge in the front of my belly that’s is like liquid fat. They assured me it is swelling and it will go down. I am keeping my fingers crossed that they are right. Lord knows I’m not sure I could go back and do this again for a revision.
