Feeling like a million bucks

WORTH IT$14,000
Feeling like a million bucks. 8 weeks post and can do just about anything. I’m standing up straight. I do small workouts with my own body weight. Gonna start increasing weight next week. I’m not super tired or super bloated by the end of the day.
Have my 10 week appt in 2 weeks and that should be it. The scars are amazing. I can definitely feel the scar tissue and other layers of stitches underneath but nothing dramatic.
Finally eating crop tops and low rise Jeans and other cute outfits I would never before. This new found confidence is dangerous! Hahaha
So excited and sooooo happy I chose my dr. After calling about 20 others who just didn’t do it for me. His staff is amazing. The surgery center staff was awesome. All in all loved everything. Even the pain wasn’t too crazy thinking back at it.

You look fabulous! How many weeks are you now? I know you mentioned in my review that you are still having swelling later in the day in the evening, same as me. Your incision looks awesome! My doctor has me using Tegaderm tape up until week 12 but I'm taking breaks in between and using intensive Maderna night cream on my scars. I also just bought Silagen and will be using that with my silicone scar strips at night in between the Tegaderm tape usage up until 12 weeks. And your breasts look awesome! Seeing them kind of makes me wish I had opted for a breast augmentation, just for some fullness up top. I did a breast fat transfer three years ago and while I am happy with it, I could definitely use more upper pole fullness! Congrats on your excellent outcome!
I'm coming up on 13 weeks! Time flew. Yes the swelling does come after big dinners or drinking. But I'm getting better. The scar is great. Its still on the angry red side but I know it'll fade. At my 10 week i bought the Silagen my dr offers and i feel like its working. I switch on and off between regular silicone strips and the silagen. Maybe if i strictly only use one product that might make more of an effect.

Fat Transfer! I would have liked to do that but for the amount of volume i wanted I dont think it would have helped.... but thank you! :)

6 wk appointment

Officially 6 weeks. Went in for my appointment and he said everything looks great. Feeling great. I can noticeably see the swelling gone down dramatically. Scar sheets are a ritual now. He said I can start taking breaks from my compression garment so ima start doing a 3-4 he break a day. Can officially start working out. So doing workouts with my own body weight. Sleeping almost on my entire side. So excited. So happy with the results.

You are looking great and healing wonderfully! I am four weeks tomorrow! I saw my PS yesterday and he changed my scar sheeting. I'm supposed to change it myself in two weeks, by leaving it off for two days and then reapplying for two weeks. I'll see him again in another month. Very pleased as well how everything is coming along. I'm still not completely standing straight and it's been starting to cause back problems but the last two days I've been forcing myself to stand straighter. It's just that my stomach muscles are so damn tight it feels like a guitar string is going to snap! Do you still have that feeling? You really looking great! I can't wait for my six week mark where I can begin exercising. He did say I can start taking walks today which I'm planning on doing since it's going to be near 60 here today which is unheard of in the Northeast!
Yes start pushing yourself little by little to stand up straight. I did feel like that 2-3 weeks ago but now I'm good. I can't fully stretch like curl my back but standing up straight is not an issue no more. It'll get better as you go along! I have to keep reminding myself it's on 6 weeks. I still have a long ways to go and can't speed it all up. As far as exercising I'm just doing lunges and squats and tiny 2-5 lbs on my arms. Don't want to over do it. But the muscle loss has been drastic. Want to start working on that. Im glad you're doing better. Keep it up!!! He said I could start paying off the compression garment slowly so Sunday i went out in my first ever crop top. And ohhhh man. The excitement. The nerves. It was a bizarre but awesome feeling.
I know, it's hard to remember that we still have a long way to go! But you're two weeks ahead of me at least! I can't wait to start using light weights at six weeks. The muscle loss is real, right? Can't wait for the day I can get back on my peloton, lol! Currently sitting in my recliner with the heating pad on my back because it's 915 at night and my back is killing me!!!

Week 4 into 5

Doing sooo much better. Officially started scar treatment. Aloe vera, vitamin e, maderna and scar tape combos. Also slowly starting to slightly turn in my sleep and sleep on my side at an angle. Stretching is better. Still not fully functional but definitely standing straight. Can’t get up from a semi laid down position to sitting without help from arms or turning. Boob swelling is way down. Also, the last of the stitching that was slightly hanging out has fallen out on its own. Lymphatic massages have helped with mobility and swelling. Loving it. Can’t wait to see what the end result will be. Cause I love it thus far.

You are looking simply amazing! It's so refreshing to see someone else like me who had a tummy tuck with muscle repair but no Lipo. It seems like most of the doctors do Lipo with the procedure but mine said I didn't need it. I did have Lipo in the past and maybe that's why? I just wanna make sure I have a small waist and not a boxy look! Everything is looking fantastic on you! I did respond earlier to one of your posts about where you got your belly button trainer. My nurse said that I didn't need to do anything to my belly button, just have a piece of gauze on it under my compression garment. But I'm afraid it's shrinking! Can you post a picture of the one you got on Amazon? I'm going to ask my nurse when I see her next week if I can start maybe using it. Congrats on your great recovery and the breasts look great too!!
Yes. I went into my consult expecting lipo from what I've read. But as he was examining me. He said you don't need lipo. You're thin enough and the tummy tuck will take care of a lot along with the muscle repair. Never thought I'd be happy to hear that. I would say to just continue with the compression garments. I tend to really tighten the hooks from the bottom to my belly button to Tighten that in. And the ones by my ribs I'll let alittle loose. The trainers can't hurt in my opinion. So I would say go for it. And thank you very much! Yours looks great too! Speedy recovery!
