Mommy makeover no lipo!- 2 kids, 5’5 140lbs

Officially have a surgery date for Jan 2022!!! Just wanted to start this as a journal to myself for how things go. Will add pictures later. Will be getting implants under the muscle and straight forward tummy tuck with no lipo. Super excited! Updated on 11 Jan 2022: Currently 4 days out. In good spirits and feeling way better than the first day. Trying to straighten out but also taking it easy. Pain meds are now pushed to about 12-15 hours instead of 6-8. No current pictures as I haven’t taken those but I will soon. These are old ones. Updated on 15 Jan 2022: Today I went in for my one week post op appt and everything went great. He removed one drain and I have one to go. It felt weird. Like something crawling inside. The pain was as he first pulled the drain out of the incision site and as the end of the drain first started to move. A quick process. One drain left. He tightened my faja so hopefully that controls the swelling as incision. Updated on 15 Jan 2022: He removed the original belly button gauze and suggested buying the belly button trainers on Amazon. So ima grab those and hope for the best. Belly button is looking like an actual belly button. So excited! Updated on 23 Jan 2022: Officially 2 weeks post and feeling great. Got the last drain removed and it didn’t hurt one bit. I feel like I can officially stand straight but after a long day my back aches a bit. Keeping up with the boob massages. Feel them getting softer and sooooo happy with the tummy scar. Left and right boob scars are looking great too! Bought some belly button trainers to wear under my faja and I feel like it’s helping. Doc and his team are great. Super happy with my choice. Updated on 8 Feb 2022: Doing sooo much better. Officially started scar treatment. Aloe vera, vitamin e, maderna and scar tape combos. Also slowly starting to slightly turn in my sleep and sleep on my side at an angle. Stretching is better. Still not fully functional but definitely standing straight. Can’t get up from a semi laid down position to sitting without help from arms or turning. Boob swelling is way down. Also, the last of the stitching that was slightly hanging out has fallen out on its own. Lymphatic massages have helped with mobility and swelling. Loving it. Can’t wait to see what the end result will be. Cause I love it thus far. Updated on 20 Feb 2022: Officially 6 weeks. Went in for my appointment and he said everything looks great. Feeling great. I can noticeably see the swelling gone down dramatically. Scar sheets are a ritual now. He said I can start taking breaks from my compression garment so ima start doing a 3-4 he break a day. Can officially start working out. So doing workouts with my own body weight. Sleeping almost on my entire side. So excited. So happy with the results. Updated on 5 Mar 2022: Feeling like a million bucks. 8 weeks post and can do just about anything. I’m standing up straight. I do small workouts with my own body weight. Gonna start increasing weight next week. I’m not super tired or super bloated by the end of the day. Have my 10 week appt in 2 weeks and that should be it. The scars are amazing. I can definitely feel the scar tissue and other layers of stitches underneath but nothing dramatic. Finally eating crop tops and low rise Jeans and other cute outfits I would never before. This new found confidence is dangerous! Hahaha So excited and sooooo happy I chose my dr. After calling about 20 others who just didn’t do it for me. His staff is amazing. The surgery center staff was awesome. All in all loved everything. Even the pain wasn’t too crazy thinking back at it.
