Good Experience, but Scar Revision Needed

I’ll start this review off by saying I’m happy I got the mommy makeover for myself. After carrying a 10-pound baby, my 5’0 130-pound figure was completely destroyed lol. After research, I came across Dr. Earle and decided he was the right doctor for me due to his level of education, reviews, and above all else safety. There were a couple of frustrating moments when working with the office to get my payment submitted, as I was given a price, paid, and then was contacted again saying I owed more and blah blah blah. No problem, it was still a great deal for a tummy tuck, lipo of the flanks, and breast lift with implants. The surgery went fantastic! Dr. Earle was great, his staff was great and made me feel so comfortable, especially being that I traveled alone and stayed in a recovery home. I am now 3 months post-op and noticed my sides/area above my incision is not the same on both sides. I understand nothing or no one is 100% proportionate, however, this was a huge difference. I got in contact with the office and was approved for a scar revision under local anesthesia for $750, however, the first available appointment isn’t until September 2021. SO, If I decide to travel back to Miami for this revision I’ll have to take more time off work, book flights and a room, and it’ll probably end up costing another $1200 altogether and I won’t be swimsuit ready this summer because I’d have to wait until September. All in all, I’m satisfied, but not 100%, and possible revision is something that you should keep in the back of your mind when it comes to surgeries.

I'm so glad you are [mostly] pleased with your decision to have surgery. I think you look fabulous. I do see your concern on the one side of your hips- but wouldn't let that stop you from the swimsuit experience you've been waiting for! I'm sure you can find one that looks great and you feel confident in until you get the final fix! :)

I don't think it is worth it to get a revision on that small imperfection. I really can't see what troubles you. I would wait until the scar matures and if it heals really faint, why go through all of trouble and money. It really takes about a year for scaring to fade away. I have had a lot of surgical procedures and don't scar very well on certain areas of my body. My Dr. gave me a tube of SkinMedica scar gel. I had a mini tummy tuck a the end of Sept. My scar has faded so much already that I know it will be almost invisible at the 1 year mark. You should try it.
