Update on healing

My stomach is still swollen however reducing slowly. I've stopped wearing the medical compression garment and started wearing full control briefs to and support bras - I was allergic to the seams of the medical compression garment. Also too hot and uncomfortable.
Still have some areas that are scabby but all in all the wounds are healing wonderfully.
Some stitches were left in - I took them out myself and the end of one of the internal stitches poked through the skin, I also trimmed that off.
Would like the swelling to go down more however I keep forgetting it's not even 3 weeks since the operation!!!!
Very happy so far.

Before surgery......
As you can see very saggy breasts and large belly despite exercise and diet.
Never able to have a flat stomach due to the separation of my stomach muscles.
Two appointments in the clinic prior to surgery, identified I needed a breast lift (maxopexy) as well as augmentation as well as a small amount of liposuction when I recieved my abdominoplasty - I opted to have both surgeries at the same time - 6 hours of theatre time.

Biggest Decision of my Life!

After considering cosmetic surgery for decades I finally made the decision to look into tummy tuck and breast augmentation surgery late last year.
Plastic surgeons are limited in Cairns and I completed extensive homework about all surgeons in the area and their work. What appealed the most to me is Dr Hertess is female - I still believe this makes the difference between knowing a woman's motivation/wants/needs as apposed to a man. Please note this is a personal choice - I'm not saying male surgeons are not competent. I just believe a woman knows a womans nuances and understands on a deeper level.
The process so far has been professional and thourough. If you want professional, logical and practical service you will get it from Cairns Plastic Surgery. If you want hand holding and good feels go elsewhere. This is a professional business that is aimed to give you the results most suited to you... not the dreams/wishes of little girls and boys.
