5 and a halfish month update!
Sooo I don’t think much has changed since my last update. The biggest thing would be that about a month or so ago I started to notice that it looks like my right side implant is sitting low and you can see the difference between my breast tissue and the implant. It’s very minor, but it is noticeable. I started researching it and freaked myself out like I have a double bubble and am going to need corrective surgery. I had a follow up appointment since then and the dr thinks it’s fine and will get better. So for now, I’m cooking my jets and giving it time. We’ll see where it goes. I also have some lifting on the left side of my scar. Try my best to get pictures but the boob issue is a little harder to see. Other than that, it’s been great to gain weight and it not all be in my gut!! I’ve gained 7 pounds since surgery (which I intend to lose lol) but it’s nice to still have a flat stomach and some curves for ones. Before I gained all of my weight in my tummy, and my butt and boobs were the first to go the second I start to lose. But I have a goal of getting a six pack, so it’s on!
It’s been a while!
So it’s been quite some time since my last update! Life got back to normal and busy! Healing has gone really well, but of course feels extremely slow going. The longest lasting effects I feel is the swelling. On my 2 month mark I was free to do whatever I want and wean off of the compression garment. I also went on a vacation that same week with lots of bathing suit wearing. I felt like I’d swell up almost instantly after taking off my garment. This lasted for a couple more weeks . It’s amazing to see I had a waist under that swelling! I am pretty much completely out of compression now, but still feel swollen from time to time. I’ll wear compression to bed every now and then as it’s worse in the evening. I’m so happy with my results! I love my boobs, they’re the perfect size. I’ve been using biocornium, not as often as I should be but pretty regularly. Will post more recent pictures soon!
4 weeks
Tomorrow I will be 4 weeks post op. Finally past the cold I picked up on week 2, thank goodness. Coughing was horrible. Things are going well. Finally able to do chores around the house without feeling like I’m going to die after. Slowly starting to lift my 1year old. Just simple straight up and down lifts. Still feeling tired. But almost normal. Got the ok to start scar treatments so I ordered some biocorneum as recommended by dr. Started using skinmedica until the biocorneum arrives. Boobs are just starting to soften, but still high and stiff.
