Here we go. Mommy make over
I’m so excited!!
I have always been small, petite. No figure, apple shaped. I got in really good shape in my 20s. I am 5,2(.5 to be exact). I was 110 lbs but still always had this weird little intention under my belly which looked like a pootch, I’ve never had a flat stomach, even at 93 pounds in high school. So about 7 years ago I went in for a consultation. I wanted a BA and also something to fix that spot on my tummy. The dr described it as the skin attaching to the muscle, almost like a c section scar. Anyway, at that time I still just wasn’t sure. I was single and knew I had big changes I still wanted in my life, mainly to have children. So I decided not to as the time. But promised myself that when the time was right, I’d do it! So here I am almost 8 years later, married with two amazing baby boys. And my boobs are still small with a little wear from breast feeding, and my tummy is even more funky than before. So I’m ready. Let’s do this!!!

Day 4 post op and before pictures
The process of going in for surgery was very smooth. Everything happened very fast. I was given the shot to calm me down and next thing i remember was waking up in recovery. My surgery took almost half the time I anticipated. I woke up and couldn’t believe the clock said 10:30!! After that it felt a bit rushed. They called my ride and had me out by 12-12:30ish. The movement of getting up and moved and into a car was very overwhelming, and made me very nauseous. Moving at all was a struggle and painful. I was so thankful my mom had set up everything for me at her home. She has a bed that adjusts head rest and leg height. Perfect. I have two small kids at home so we decided staying at my parents under their care would be best.
It has been great. The first couple days have been rough, meds have been given on alarm set times. But moving around still a struggle. My first post op went well. Besides feeling like I might die when they took off all garments. I got hot cold sweats and horrible nausea, felt like I couldn’t even hold my head up. Once that passed I got to see my scar looked so good. Everything looked perfect and much better than I had expected.
I have since been feeling much better. Getting around well. Less pain. All around feeling better. Next appointment is Wednesday and hopefully to get these annoying drains out!! I’ll update then!!
